Romey 1878 Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 It was to be expected tbh because he has been treated like shit by that club. I hope he gets back into management soon. I hope West Sham don't try to poach Moyes. Quote
jamiemaher85 Posted September 3, 2008 Author Report Posted September 3, 2008 Selling most of his defence behind his back was stupid. I too hope they don't go in for Moyes, but can't see him going there to be honest, they don't have too many prospects so couldn't see why he would go. I don't think he will go ther yet but I think there first choice will be Billic Quote
Romey 1878 Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 I reckon they'll get an Italian manager in. I have no idea why or who but it's just a gut feeling. Quote
Jimmy the blue Posted September 3, 2008 Report Posted September 3, 2008 Well that is my first forecast right thanks to the pissing around in Newcastle Pearce to get the job is my hunch Quote
zequist Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 (edited) Here's a funny story. Apparently there's a fellow who wanted to place a wager on US presidential nominee Barack Obama becoming West Ham's next manager (hey, he has as much experience as a football coach as he does as a government executive!), so a bookmaker gave him 10,000 to 1 odds on it. According to the article, this particular book's favorite for the job is Slaven Bilic at 3-1. http://www.mercurynews.com/breakingsports/...?nclick_check=1 Edited September 4, 2008 by JD in DC Quote
Bill Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 A hammer friend of mine tells me its Slaven Bilic AND Di Canio as his number 2. Quote
jamiemaher85 Posted September 4, 2008 Author Report Posted September 4, 2008 A hammer friend of mine tells me its Slaven Bilic AND Di Canio as his number 2. You would not mess with them two! West Ham could become a very dirty team though. Quote
Jimmy the blue Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 You would not mess with them two! West Ham could become a very dirty team though. I just cannot see either of them working together, Di Canio would be screaming and Slaven would thump him, it will never work Quote
StevO Posted September 4, 2008 Report Posted September 4, 2008 treated badly down there. maybe curbs to newcastle? i hope slaven doesnt go to west ham, i want him to be moyes eventual replacement at GP. not that i want moyes to leave, i just think he'll be at united sooner or later Quote

Romey 1878 Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 Which United Steve? I'd assume Manchester United mate. Quote
MikeO Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 I'd assume Manchester United mate. Rooney'd be made up . Quote
Sporting4ever Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 I'd assume Manchester United mate. I heard some rumour about him beeing one of the names beeingkb considered to backup Ferguson, now that Queirós returned to Portugal national team. Curiously enough, another name i heard sugested was our own coach, Paulo Bento. but i doubt any of them will go. Ferguson has been preparing to retire for 4 or 5 years now, and with this new citeh thing, i doubt he'll go soon. Quote
aaron Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 united appointed phlen as their assistant yesterday mate Quote
zequist Posted September 7, 2008 Report Posted September 7, 2008 Roberto Donadoni, Gianfranco Zola, Michael Laudrup, and if he's willing to resign from Croatia immediately (or at the latest after October's matches) Bilic. That's their short list. Quote
Jimmy the blue Posted September 9, 2008 Report Posted September 9, 2008 Roberto Donadoni, Gianfranco Zola, Michael Laudrup, and if he's willing to resign from Croatia immediately (or at the latest after October's matches) Bilic. That's their short list. Donadoni has ruled himself out making Zola favourie. Quote
