Just read that Wigan have released david Thompson from his contract. http://home.skysports.com/list.asp?hlid=38...+first+team+duo I know we were interested a little while ago and he is certainly a decent player. I read somewhere that he was an Everton fan too. Could be a useful addition for the wide right and left positions, if we can get him fit? And he will cost nothing. Any thoughts? Will be a quality buy for the club that takes a chance but i think most prem teams will learn from his spells at blackburn & wigan where he has only played a handful of games. Will end up at one of the new promoted clubs IMO and if he stays fit will make them a good chunck of money at the end of the season when they sell him on! If he came on pay as you play then yes i'd go for him, hes a menacing kick you type of player so DM will obviously like the way he plays!!
