Won't argue with that :D

Rodwell is 100% a midfielder, he looks so comfortable and ace passing.

Pienaar already we have missed so much.

Christ! The possibilty of Nugent must have put you in a really good mood. Praise for Felli does not come easy from you! ;)

We are still so toothless down the right hand side. Not trying to put a dampner on a good performance so far, but we look so good down the left it is annoying as we could really start causing people trouble if we could actually mount an attack from the left.

Ssssh don't ruin the good mood!

Rodwell started so well but seems to have gone quiet, cahill doing a lot of work acrosss the park, fellaini seeing a lot of the ball and playing well, hibbert is the obvious weakness, baines and pienaar excellent. hope we can keep Saha fit he's a class player, 2-0 half time and looking comfortable. Yobo, arteta, jagielka, and yakubu not playing, get them back and we look good.

All we need is a wide man and a right back. (and senderos if joleon goes).

Still can't believe Rodwell is only 18. Just looks so..... brilliant.

Fellaini's looked good in everything that's involved him, Pienaar looks sharp, Bainesy is quality at both ends, Cahill is putting in a really underrated shift, Ossie's had some great movement and just needs to work his left foot a bit, Saha started off sharp but he's looking like he's feeling the asthma, Hibbo's been okay, Neville looks pretty decent at CB and Lescott's doing well defensively but his distribution has been poor. Howard's done well with what he's had to deal with.

“The performance of the players was better, but it made a big difference having Steven Pienaar and Joleon Lescott back,” said Moyes.

“It was much better balanced in the team and much closer to the players that played last season for us. Obviously Joseph Yobo wasn’t fit for tonight’s game, and Brazilian Jo going over on his ankle in the game at Blackburn. But it was much more like us and when we get our players fit we’re a decent side.”

The boss was also pleased to see Marouane Fellaini showing good signs of returning to full strength.

“He fitted back into us tremendously tonight, and I thought Fellaini played very well,” the Blues boss added. “It was more like his form, and we’re looking forward to getting Mikel Arteta, Yakubu and Phil Jagielka back. Because our team needs them and if we get them all playing then it makes us a threat.”

Just one question, why does Davey always call Jo "Brazilian Jo?" Have we got any other Jo's that I don't know about? Maghull Jo maybe? I think we should be told!

I was thinking about this... but I presume it's because we've got Jo-Yobo, and Jo-Lescott.

As for the game, we're much improved on recent performances. Good to see us playing nice football again. Just goes to show how we miss our players when they're out. Thought Pienaar, Felli and Saha were all excellent, as was Ossie, Baines too - got forward well. Rodwell looks a different player when he plays in midfield.
