Was at his best today, really showed his class all over the pitch, beat their players easy, turning them every time, ran well and played some lovely passes to break through them.

 

Only other player would be Baines who attacking brilliantly in tandem with Pienaar as we know they can do so well.

 

If Fellaini hadn't been such an idiot to get sent off I'd have had him in there with them 2 for MOM as he looked sharp like he'd not been out, composed and really played as we know he can.

Dont wanna sound too negetive (but i will), just thought it was a really flat performance... noone really standing out. I thought Billy was totally off the pace but when Shamus came on he just seemed to scare the hell out of the opponents, turning the defender almost everytime he made a run. if he carries on like this, this kid is gonna be something special.

Peanuts for me industrious as ever down the left flank just edging out Baines who had another great match. I hope this partnership is still here this time next season.

Couldn't decide between Pienaar and Distin (who is simply awesome at the moment) but went for Pienaar because he was the only one that tried when he had the ball. Why oh why wasn't Arteta subbed...

Maybe ethically wrong to give a Man of the Match to someone who was sent off but I have given my vote to Fellaini who, I felt, was immense seing as he had missed five games. Good contributions from Pienaar, Distin, Baines and Howard gets a mention for that brilliant save from Holdens header.
