Fabrice Muamba

he's right though..whichever way you look at it...webb potentially saved the lads life

i agree, it was quick action that saved the lads live, stopping the game as quickly as he did was part of that. Seems like such a simple, common-sense task but you be amazed uncommon sense is.....

He's got a second chance at life, very lucky to be here and I'm sure he will succeed at whatever he chooses to do. I wish him luck.

I woulden't be surprised if he went into coaching, he's still young and can obviously still play football and read the game, so long as he dosen't have to exercise at the high expectations of the Premier League he should be alright.

I'm sure we haven't seen the last of Fabrice.

Wouldn't surprise me if he has a totally different outlook on life after what he went through. Hope Bolton offer him their support whatever he chooses.

HEART-attack footballer Fabrice Muamba has revealed he endured the agony of a second scare during the summer.

Really no surprise that he ended up retiring from professional football, if he's had a second heart scare whilst on holiday then something is seriously wrong.

Set to become a father and is appearing on Strictly Come Dancing. Astonishing that all this is happening when his heart-attack was under a year ago. I wonder how much money he's actually made from it considering that he is now making TV appearances and releasing books etc...

His insurance would pay up the money owed to him on what was left on his contract, which is why you should always renegotiate a new deal to keep at least two to three years ahead of you in case things like this happen. Hope he keeps well enjoys every day.

Whatever keeps him away from commentating, he is terrible.

I've heard him twice in partnership with Derek Rae doing the African FIFA World Cup qualifiers.

For someone who's reasonably educated he comes out with nonsense:

"If a Turkish player, like Mesut Ozil, can play for Germany then why not England?" he says. "If you look at the French 98 team? Marcel Desailly was Ghanaian, Patrick Vieira is from Senegal and Zinedine Zidane's family was from Algeria. Somebody, somewhere is doing this now. Why shouldn't England do it?"

Erm.. they did Fabrice, with you!

Ozil is a third generation German, Zidane was also born and raised in France, Desailly and Vieira moved to France as children.

Yeah, I saw a bit of the ACoN at the start of the year and he was fairly average. However, he's young and learning on the job. I can't defend his comments about nationality, they are crass. Although I'm extremely happy he is still around and able to come out with such tripe.
