Dalziel Kane
I don't see what's so fucking amusing about it. Yes Kid. Was even married and divorced long before you were even an itch in your fathers pants. I'd appreciate it if you kept my family out of things in future responses. That goes for all participants. MikeO
I'd appreciate it if you kept my family out of things in future responses. That goes for all participants. Probably the best way to achieve that would have been if you'd not mentioned family in the first place. Each of us chooses really how much to reveal of ourselves on here, some are quite open (me included, but then I have no life outside of the internet) so can expect comment/banter/piss-take back; lots only talk about EFC. If you only talk about Everton no-one would mention your family.
Lowensda
I'm with Mike, I'm quite open about what I talk about, it doesn't bother me. If I get stick for it, I take it because it was I, who left the door of opportunity open for abuse/banter. Stay the enigma that is DK, don't get personal or you leave yourself vulnerable. I'm a big boy, with far more patience and calm than they'd have you believe. So some 'stick' doesn't bother me but there are some more volatile/angry/whiney characters within the forum that may react badly to suggestions of banter. Don't leave yourself open.
Zoo
Not going to go into detail because my opinions are pretty much the same as Mike and J, no malice was intended and if you can't take stick on a forum then don't leave yourself open to it. Everyone gets their fair share of stick, myself included. The stick that's given to me I don't mind as you'll see the same light-hearted banter throughout the forum and I don't take anything to heart, in fact I welcome it. By reacting in such an aggressive manner because it just makes people want to do it more. Last words on the matter - cheer up and don't mention things if you don't want them to be joked about. Dalziel Kane
We went to Greece once. Couldn't understand a word anyone was saying. No, but Bournemouth is a nice place all year round I always found, a more benign variation of Blackpool. Certainly worse UK sea resorts you could visit for sure. For the benefit of this thread, it gets dark early now and stays dark later in the mornings so i guess I was kind of pleased with that. Born in December in my defense, never was one for the sun. Dalziel Kane
No, as in 'it's all greek to us' maybe, It wasn't necessarily 'go to Greece and can't understand the locals' I undertook several foreign language courses at various colleges but Greek wasn't one of them, although I believe it was available. Such a small percentage of the world speaks the language, so you're better off with French or Spanish for vacations and trips away where it may, or can be utilized. Dalziel Kane
ASDA is a decent store to purchase, but most of the time, it's a lot of (staff) kids standing around just fraternizing or doing next to nothing. I give them a wide berth if I have any glass bottles or sharp objects in my hands on route to payments. I can't drink Stella Artois, makes me vomit every time. Liquor or stronger beverages, not a problem however, but I just can't drink the former.

Dalziel Kane
Saw in the news recently that Colin Murray will be relieved of duties as host of that awful MOTD2 program. He's the one reason why I just don't - no, just can't watch it. Don't even get me started on that 'individual'. Only problem is, the fucking thing doesn't come into effect until start of next season, so that's another few months of missing highlights, but at least something got done, and I was quite pleased with the news. They're going to replace with someone off Talksport, so it doesn't look like they'll be much difference from before, but it's got to be an improvement. "Others will mourn the passing of a presenter who at least attempted to bring to terrestrial television something of the way normal people speak about football. Murray has a style, a schtick, a sense of basic questioning intelligence that would not be silenced by the constriction that often clogs the veins of BBC sport output, caught between the beaming condescension of its interchangeable presenters and the sense of sullen celebrity entitlement evident in the lolling satin-shirted big hitters of the football couch." Dalziel Kane
The one main reason I dont watch highlight programs anymore is because of the presenters featured. Most, but not all - are merely banal, nauseating, irritating and mundane fucks and Murray falls into that category with ease, in fact he's one of the leading culprits. I don't get excited much (outside of the bedroom), but when I read the news that Murray was leaving, fuck me, I did have a spontaneous moment of jubilation, even if short lived. If they want a proper presenter, get Mark Bright or Claridge for instance. Two men I have a lot of respect for and provide some good analysis, but the BBC always manages to make wrong decisions and feature the most horrendous people you could imagine. Won't be long now before they grab the fat abomination that is Adrian Chiles back from ITV again, just for good measure.
