British Managers - back on the rise?

Recommended Posts

I saw a valid point on Twitter, just before. It stated the amount of 'British' managers that currently hold Premier League Managerial positions;

Dyche

Pardew

Bruce

Pearson

Rodgers

Carver

Ramsey

Hughes

Monk

Pulis

Sherwood

That's 11 of the 20 top league teams, with British Managers. Have you ever known the Premier League to have as many UK coaches and Managers considering the last few years of foreign influences.

With all the talk on the influx of foreign players in the game, are we looking at a resurgence in the British style of play (using foreign ability) or are our coaches developing their 'styles' to suit a more international game?

And will it have an eventual, positive impact on the national side?

Isn't it more than that? What about Tim Sherwood?
