Lowensda
I saw a valid point on Twitter, just before. It stated the amount of 'British' managers that currently hold Premier League Managerial positions; Dyche Pardew Bruce Pearson Rodgers Carver Ramsey Hughes Monk Pulis Sherwood That's 11 of the 20 top league teams, with British Managers. Have you ever known the Premier League to have as many UK coaches and Managers considering the last few years of foreign influences. With all the talk on the influx of foreign players in the game, are we looking at a resurgence in the British style of play (using foreign ability) or are our coaches developing their 'styles' to suit a more international game? And will it have an eventual, positive impact on the national side? Edited February 17, 2015 by tenaciousj
seve
at least half of the above mentioned are either temporary or hanging on by the skin of there teeth and only rodgers has been trusted with a budget. but I must admit the number did surprise me. MikeO
But how long ago was it that there wasn't a single Scottish manager in the English top flight? (To save you looking it up it was 1984) http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2950592/Paul-Lambert-getting-sacked-leaves-no-Scottish-managers-English-flight-time-30-years.html (apologies for the rag linked)

Cornish Steve
It's quite revealing, actually. The top teams are managed by foreign managers; the rest are managed by English managers.
