ahalftimereport Posted May 19, 2015 Report Posted May 19, 2015 Hi fellas,Just a piece on former Everton player Billy Kenny here which I though some of you might be interested in, it's entitled 'From England's Hottest Prospect to Retired at 21: The Story of Billy Kenny'. I'm sure many of you will remember him and some will have seen him play, but a lot of younger supporters may not have even heard the name Billy Kenny, and I think his story is one worth knowing. The article is here: http://ahalftimereport.com/2015/05/19/from-englands-hottest-prospect-to-retired-at-21-the-story-of-billy-kenny/Sorry if I've posted this in the wrong place, feel free to move it. Cheers! Quote
MikeO Posted May 19, 2015 Report Posted May 19, 2015 Thanks for that, very sad story. Hope George Green reads it (if the rumours are true). Quote
EFC-Paul Posted May 19, 2015 Report Posted May 19, 2015 Cheers a good read and such a waste! it should be a story echoed to many young prospects in today's game that's plagued more than ever by drugs and so on Quote
duncanmckenzieismagic Posted May 19, 2015 Report Posted May 19, 2015 Remember thinking he was going to be the new Bryan Robson, total waste of what should have been an excellent career Quote
StevO Posted May 20, 2015 Report Posted May 20, 2015 What's going on with Green? Think I've missed a bit. Quote
Romey 1878 Posted May 20, 2015 Report Posted May 20, 2015 What's going on with Green? Think I've missed a bit. Apparently he's checked into The Priory with drink problems. Quote
