Romey 1878 Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 http://www.teamtalk.com/football/story/0,1...2043994,00.html Good article here about our new superstar Quote
Pat Posted April 8, 2007 Report Posted April 8, 2007 A few of us had discusssed Make or break for James earlier in season. The cotton wool aproach many of us agreed with when earlier calls to play were cast seems to have paid off . Well it would seem. We feared another Knee injury would be curtains. Still plenty to learn, & his pace is amazingly still good, He & Vic have been a breath of fresh air. Sayonora Beattie San. Quote
MikeO Posted April 8, 2007 Report Posted April 8, 2007 Have to say that BT is either an excellent actor or he was genuinely pleased for JV when he came off on Friday...impressive attitude but sadly not an impressive talent any more. Quote
StevO Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 ive been saying all season this kid will make it, thou im always happy to see vic play, i just dont think he'll cut the mustard like james will Quote
thebluenose Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 after seeing vic and vaughn a few times this season. its clear that atm vaughn is the better all round player. whilst vic is a good impact player off the bench. vic can be a great player if he learns to read the game better. imo both have a future at the club Quote
Romey 1878 Posted April 9, 2007 Author Report Posted April 9, 2007 It was sad that Vaughan got injured today as well, hopefully we'll see him play again this season Quote
thebluenose Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 its only a gash on his ankle. so i hear. so he may feature on saturday Quote
Romey 1878 Posted April 9, 2007 Author Report Posted April 9, 2007 He severed an artery mate, I cant see him playing V Charlton tbh Quote
GemmyGem Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 I cringe when i hear what he did today sounds so painful Quote
StevO Posted April 9, 2007 Report Posted April 9, 2007 a severed artery/vein can heal in a day or take upto about two weeks, it really depends on the victim. hope it more one day than two weeks, very useful weapon at the moment Quote
J*A*C*K*E*L*Z Posted April 10, 2007 Report Posted April 10, 2007 yeps 4-5-1 all the way with arteta and osman pushed right up cars nevle and fernandes battle it out with this team that is going to be fighting for there lives btw Quote
Blue4Ever Posted April 11, 2007 Report Posted April 11, 2007 He severed an artery mate, I cant see him playing V Charlton tbh I carnt either but I dont think its as bad as it was thought to be now, dont fink he will have trained much up to the game on sunday. Quote
thebluenose Posted April 11, 2007 Report Posted April 11, 2007 when dya think hel be back in it. west ham or manu. coz i think he could feature in the west ham game but more likely moyes will rest him until the manu game where we need all men possible Quote
StevO Posted April 11, 2007 Report Posted April 11, 2007 i dont think he would play the man utd game anyway, i think we'll go 451 for that one, or play beattie Quote
MikeO Posted April 11, 2007 Report Posted April 11, 2007 See he didn't want to come off the pitch....wanted to carry on with a severed artery ffs! Like the knight in Monty Python and the Holy Grail..."'tis only a flesh wound" when both his arms are cut off ! What a star! Quote
iggy Posted April 11, 2007 Report Posted April 11, 2007 See he didn't want to come off the pitch....wanted to carry on with a severed artery ffs! Like the knight in Monty Python and the Holy Grail..."'tis only a flesh wound" when both his arms are cut off ! What a star! I want to see that attitude week in, week out from all of the squad, mind you in recent weeks there hasn't really been too much to gripe about! Quote
