Makes me laugh that footballers get paid weekly and most of us have to struggle through a whole month to pick up our tiny (in comparison) pay packets. It's the £65 deduction for "meals" that made me laugh, is that his canteen bill from the training ground? And £36 for tickets....he must have a lot of friends . Bill Posted November 1, 2007 Report Share Posted November 1, 2007 When you think of world class players like Bobby Moore, Jimmy Greaves, Alan Ball and the like only got 80 to a 100 pounds a week, can you blame people for ripping into some of the players nowadays for not running through Brick walls, or not sweating Blood for the money they get.
