FairWooney
well i don't mind him being at the club but for kroldrup to leave and stubbs come back really isn't a good thing. If i see weir and stubbs walk out together on saturday i'll fuckin cry! they'll be absaloutely slaughtered for pace just how they always have been. Jay
i think getting Stubbs back would be a step backwards why don't they get a centre half who can actually last longer than a season lol
Lowton_Toffee
To me we've signed a defender for £5 million without either wanting him, or scouting him properly, because if he was that good, we'd want to keep him. Unless theres more to this (ie long term injury problem). Seems crazy, it seemed we had a good partner for Joey with more than capable cover from Ferrari, but bringing back Stubbs for me is not looking anymore forward than May. The mind boggles,it really does.

RuffRob
He couldn't settle in Sunderland as he was basically commuting there. I don't think his heart was in moving there at all - He knows Everton, the Manager, the set up, the player (most). No settleing in period - I bet he is cockahoop about coming back. He is not the same player in a Sunderland shirt as he is in an Everton shirt. He will be playing to make sure he can be at Goodison more than 6 months. Ferrari showing good form and wanting to stay at centre back is probabley another reason Kroldroup left. Still wish Yobo was not in the African Cup though, player of the season for me so far, and will be missed, whoever plays at CB.

gazjones78
Ok if we're getting players on the cheap then we should sign up Ehiog aswell, hes a good defender.

Finn balor
I think we have to remember that for the most of last season the most succesfull central defensive partnership was Weir and Stubbs and they contributed massively.Okay their best days are beyond them but its not the end of the world. What is important is the money generated goes to a fast forward who can copliment Beattie who for me has been outstanding in recent weeks.
