  1. Same here, so I just click on my Hola plugin on Google Chrome and select UK and boom, I can watch it.
  2. I'll be honest here. I have only seen the highlights of the whole thing and I don't think it's as shocking as the articles make it out to be. The business practice he is explaining/offering is basically him offering his services as a mediator, nothing shocking about that, and the practice he's suggesting is a legal loophole. I don't think it's directly illegal, cause it's a commission-on-a-commission kind of construction. He's being a businessman. You can only rly debate the ethicality of the practice itself. His comments on Hodgson were done in private and were nuanced. He said Hodgson was maybe a little indecisive which could cause some anxiety with the players. And that's Allardyce's right to have an opinion. He'd never say this publically. The fact that this private conversation was exposed and sensationalized for the world to hear is scummy.
  3. Fallout 4 seems to be winning atm. Come on Rise of the Tomb Raider fans, don't let this one slip us by!
  4. But what do you think about my idea, though?
  5. And hopefully we'll get enough votes by next week to determine our chosen videogame!
  6. I wonder, but ofc we're only speculating here. But if he feels anxious or not very confident, perhaps it's an idea for the manager to say; allright I'll drop you from the selection of the league games for a bit, maybe till half-season and meanwhile I'll build a team around you for the cup matches. There I guarantee you a spot in the starting line-up and you can fully focus on those. That way you cut away any uncertainty and give him a clear target to work towards. Which helps if you're uncertain or anxious. Just an idea and just speculating.
  7. There are plenty of players out there with this skill level, but few who consistently show it on the pitch season after season. Joe Cole was top class for a while and then suddenly nowhere anymore. Same Robinho, Marin or El Shaarawy. edit: I'm not judging Ross as being an extinguished flame, I'm just saying that talent in itself means little.
  8. I voted Bolasie cause I thought he wasn't too shabby.
  9. Seems like Koeman does rate Oviedo after all. I don't necessarily agree with Barkley considering the form he's been in lately. Would have preferred Gerry perhaps.
  10. I'm not going to complain if this is what the league table looks like at the end of the season
  11. For attackers, that'd be players who consistently score a lot season after season: Messi, Ibra, Aguero, Lewandowski, Suarez, Ronaldo and even our own Lukaku. So that's the difference between them and players who are only good for 1 or 2 or 3 seasons such as Falcao, Benteke and Torres. For midfielders it's more about consistency in playmaking, passing accuracy, posession stats, assists, blablabla and that's where you find players like Özil, De Bruyne, Fernandinho, Lahm, (Pirlo), Iniesta, Khedira, Vidal, ... Well I think you know where I'm going with this, a phenomenal player in my opinion is one who puts in world class performances season after season throughout most of their careers. I could give you an example of a "phenomenal 11" according to me: Neuer Kompany - Thiago Silva - Chiellini Lahm - Fernandinho Iniesta - Messi - De Bruyne Suarez - Ibrahimovic Bench: Courtois - J. Boateng - Alderweireld - Vidal - Özil - Ronaldo - Aguero
  12. You can claim a free copy of The Crew (2014 racing game with the entire USA as a game world). Go to the "Ubi 30" tab on Uplay.
  13. True. I played the beta weekend in may before the game's release and I thought it was relatively solid, but completely deprived of content. I saw the whole game in a few rounds, cause that's all the content it has. Shameful for a full priced game.
  14. Definitely dodged a bullet on Vadis Odjidja. Take that from a guy who supports Club Brugge, my home team and the side Odjidja played for at the time. He was good back then on a Belgian level, but not the EPL type of player. Much too selfish (even as a midfielder) and didn't really play in systems. Would be completely lost on an English football field. He now plays in Poland, trying to kick-start his career again. I would also add Jordan Lukaku.... although I don't know if the rumor was ever really based on anything. He does alright for Lazio Roma and he's good on the attacking play, but he's not exactly a defensive magician.
  15. Jamie Carragher, still a public figure on TV, thought he'd to a thoughtful thing by participating to a charity game with Youtubers, then manages to pull this off :shaking fist: interesting time marks: 0:35 0:47 1:17 class act, mate.
  16. Thing is, EPL teams have huge first team squads, full of fresh youth products and B-team sorts of players, the kind of guys that usually don't make much more than 10k a month... a lot of "bulk weight" and in that sense, EFC is actually doing alright, definitely compared to last season. But I'd classify half of those first team squads as "shite" in the sense that you'd get nowhere near a left table spot in the league tables at the end of the season with those sorts of players. But yeah, the starting lineups, that's a whole different case. The Manchesters, Chelsea, Arsenal, Spurs, EFC, LFC, and in my opinion also Stoke and West Ham.... have nearly no shite players in their usual starting 11's. Teams like Sunderland, Hull and the newly promoteds have quite a lot in their starting 11's. So my definition of 'shite' is probably what I'd say is "good enough" for EFC's starting lineup. That's sort of where I draw the line. The kind of players that can hopefully work together to get you to a top 6 spot.
  17. Odd. Gueye wasn't even the best midfielder (Barry was).
  18. Yeah, September is my favourite month of the year
  19. Homefront: The Revolution is free to play for 3 days on Steam. I think it's open all weekend (?) SHould be enough to finish the campaign Anyway, even though it has a rep of being the most unfinished game of 2016 till No Man's Sky when it released, most of the issues should have been resolved in updates by now. http://store.steampowered.com/agecheck/app/223100
  20. I'd take a look at a Zowie mouse if I were you.
  21. What does it matter if there's maybe 2 or 3 U23 strikers who are a tad more efficient blablabla even that needs a context btw... What matters is that he's a good, effective and consistent goalscorer who has evolved to bring more qualities into the game than just bagging goals.
  22. Or just a story of an incident that gets too much attention. The article says, "ISIS" banned it in one specific town for one specific event, aka some idiot with an AK47 had the idea of sports rules being in the way of radical sharia laws and started patronizing everyone at the game about it, because he was salty that his team was losing. But when you write about that from your authority as SOHR, that all sounds very dramatic and serious.
  23. Yeah it was exactly like what it was for the past 2 years at Everton. It's a bit odd, cause it's unlikely to see Martinez' style already after a few days of training... but it was like: the Belgians were always playing densely together around the ball to give the Spaniards less space, but that also left a lot of space in the back and they kinda forgot to open up the play again once in posession. It seemed like no one really knew or cared what their role was. Individually, Hazard was superb, but he didn't receive the ball enough or the others didn't combine well enough to be effective. (De Bruyne was terrible) Same for Carrasco who showed a lot of good will, but was always took on 3 or 4 Spaniards on his own. Meunier was good too. Other than that, they played like a pub team. Spain wasn't even good. I felt like if Belgium played like they did against Hungary, that it would have been another 4-0 victory.
