  1. A brand new indie game released on PS4 yesterday and will release on PC on Friday: No Man's Sky. (People were enthusiastic about it for a long time, and a lot of disbelievers/full-on haters provided counterweight, long story short, it's a solid game for an indie release) It has smashed it on Twitch. Never before has an Indie game managed to attract 130.000 simultaneous viewers, even crushing Overwatch' release hype. And this was only on PS4 so far, in contrary to Overwatch that released on all platforms at the same time, so not everyone was able to broadcast No Man's Sky yet. And you guys have every reason to be chauvinistic about it, because No Man's Sky's development studio is based in England (Guildford).
  2. Well... okay it's still a huge amount all the same. Also, I just realized your name is Paul. When I said "thanks for coming Paul", I meant mister Pogba But I appreciate your presence on TT a lot as well!
  3. Damn 180k in taxes to the UK treasury every single week. That will pay for the maintenance of F-35 fighter jets for the RAF Thanks for coming, Paul!
  4. No, that's just a typical Mourinho move. He'll sub subs or get a sub ready to come on, but send him back to the bench real quick in favor of another kind of player. It all depends on his interpretation of the course of the game. He's not afraid to do unorthodox substitution practices on the spot. Doesn't necessarily mean anything about the players in question.
  5. Yeah luckily Dutch and Belgian news media don't really have much of a sensation culture around football. Normally, they'll only report stories that are reliable from a journalism point of view.
  6. That remains to be seen. I wouldn't be so sure... it's harder than France, but he's still Ibra.
  7. I think Ibra will score more goals still than Lukaku. I suppose we'll see this season.
  8. The past week I had a feeling that it was a matter of time before Nasri would become a rumor....
  9. That's a lot of money for a CD. Imo, he's a bit overrated, so this is a great deal. Now let's see how it'll be reinvested.
  10. I think lately the pecking order for attacking midfield/wing attackers was: 1. Eden Hazard and Kevin De Bruyne (guaranteed) 3. Dries Mertens 4. Yannick Carrasco (at this point Wilmots would rather throw in Origi on the wing or change system) 5. Nacer Chadli (former darling of Wilmots, not sure what happened cause he's better now than he used to be) 6. Kevin Mirallas 7. Adnan Januzaj
  11. Alright, well wages then. Transfer fees may not be required, but footballers are never free.
  12. Difficult question, because it's hard to determine who is better or who is worse. I feel like that's a thing with strikers, because one season they're great, others they're nowhere... in a worse sense than any other kind of players. I mean, look at Falcao, Benteke, Torres, Gomez, Jelavic, Mandzukic, Michu, Van Persie, Costa, Rooney (not a striker anymore now) and so on... The fact that Aguero, Luis Suarez and Ibrahimovic are so consistent every season, that to me is what makes them stand out above the rest. And to be fair, Lukaku suffers a lot of off-days, but overall throughout a whole season, and season after season, he does perform more or less consistently... Maybe THAT is the reason for his super high market price (along with his age). Investing in Lukaku has a high probability of being safe. So what price would I pay to have that same degree of high-goalscoring consistency... I'd say... Whatever Ibrahimovic' price was. He's old, but he's still better than Lukaku. It's all hypothetical, he's off to ManU, i know.
  13. Yeah I thought it was a commonly agreed upon idea that Mirallas and Martinez had a fallout.
  14. I thought Bony's loan move to Galatasaray was pretty much done and dusted.
  15. Vermaelen signed for AS Roma. A bit of a forgotten defender because of his injuries. I found him pretty much the best center back at the latest Euros, so they probably got a good incoming transfer there.
  16. [brat Mode On] Ugh what's the use of being rich if your neighbours are still richer -_-
  17. Steam is letting us play Call of Duty Black Ops III (most recent one) for free for 2 days. http://store.steampowered.com/app/311210/ Disclaimer: The person behind account name "Mirallas" on Toffeetalk.com is a frequent player of the popular FPS game called Battlefield 4. Any ties to Call of Duty games are only through passing on a message about the free 2day trial on Steam.
  18. Raising a bit so fast by such an amount sends a wrong message: "pls reject our bids, then we'll throw lots of money at you"
  19. In case you wish to see Martinez be interviewed at his presentation press conference, this should be viewable from the UK (tested it through VPN) http://sporza.be/cm/sporza/videozone/sporten/voetbal/RodeDuivels/1.2729261
  20. Right now the RBFA is doing a live press conference. The board guys are just doing a lot of blablabla as if they brought in Jesus Christ himself to lead the team... And Martinez is his typical eloquent self but really without any substance to what he's saying. That may be true and it did cross my mind ... But still: we could have had Rudi Garcia (Eden Hazard loves this guy). I can't get over this.
  21. When people start concentrating their votes on Seamus Coleman for the role of captain, you know we don't have anything close to a real leader in the squad. See this is why we need Ashley Williams to come over.
