  1. My head hurts after that catch up. A few points. Moshiri wouldn’t let the club go into administration or bankruptcy. If he sells the club he has a chance of getting quite a bit of money back to offset his losses. If the club goes into administration or bankruptcy then he’ll get fuck all. He may be shit at running a football club, but he’s not a complete idiot. He’s cashing out before he’s all out of chips. 777 don’t need to have all of the money upfront. It was reported a while back that the deal they negotiated with Moshiri is incentivised. He gets more money should milestones be reached and his payments will be spread over a few years. Just like when Bill brought him in, he’s found buyers that are best for him, not the club. That said, I don’t see why anyone thinks they would come in and just fuck everything up. They are in the business of making money, badly run football clubs lose money. If they get the club they need to do a good job unless they want the asset to depreciate. There may be other buyers waiting in the wings to see what happen, as rumours suggest. These buyers might also be in cahoots with 777, they are an investment firm after all. They may want to buy the club and bring in others to support the funding. There is plenty more excitement (madness) to come yet.
  2. Let me try again. Physical attributes. He’s big, fast, can jump. All the stuff you can’t be taught.
  3. Like the last days of Roberto Mertinez.
  4. I like Godfrey, I wouldn’t want us to sell him yet. He has all of the attributes to be a good centre half, I hope he improves under Dyche. That said, wouldn’t play him above the other two right now.
  5. During Sam’s time at the club our home attendance dropped below below 39,000 three times, Leicester and Southampton, below 38,000 once, 37,580 against Swansea was the lowest. Three teams who don’t have a famous away support? I don’t think there was much of an effect on attendances when he was at the club, according to the numbers anyway. We report turnstile attendances, not tickets sold like Arsenal and City. Has anyone here on TT stopped going the match due to style of play?
  6. If he’s not eating a load more protein it would explain why he looks so much bigger and stronger.
  7. The best part about that clip for me is Dele watching how we play and it sounds like he’s looking to see where he can make a difference. I love Doucoure’s work ethic, but Dele is the only player who can challenge him for that position. The dream if he could get back to his best, as a counter attacking player he could be lethal for us.
  8. Unpopular opinion; I like how we’re playing. Seeing fight from the players, starting to score a few goals, counter attacking. Nothing wrong with it for me. City are brilliant, but it bores me watching them. I never liked Pep’s Barca team either.
  9. Good job we won’t have a 58,000 seater stadium isn’t it. Seriously though, would anyone actually stop going because of the style of football? That’s madness to me. I go to watch Everton. Win, lose, long ball, tiki taka, not arsed. Not had anyone near me (upper gwladys) moaning about the style of play either. Results? Absolutely people have moaned, as that is still the most important to the club.
  10. Did a great job at Arsenal, would be happy to see him come in as chairman.
  11. We win a few games, the new owners look likely to be approved, more and more journalists have mentioned the 12 point thing to be a bit of a joke. They had to come up with something to annoy us!
  12. Louis? It would explain his lengthy absences if he had a career in music.
  13. Some things are too serious to be fucking around with, Matt!!
  14. I am not going to start slagging Bill again right now, but just reading Oliver Holts article about his mate, suggesting the stadium should be call the The Bill Kenwright Stadium. I can’t comment further on that, and won’t link to the daily mail, but it’s there should anyone want to read about it (and about our horrible fan base).
  15. There is no time scale on the waiting list. And there is more than one list, depending on membership or not. It’s all dependent on availability. If every single season ticket holder renews, no one on the waiting list gets a season ticket (until we move anyway). My Dad was on the waiting list for more than three years, but he got lucky from a shit situation. His mate had a stroke, couldn’t go the game anymore, his wife passed the ticket on to my Dad.
  16. You did make a case that an agree with an increase of £95 per year though.
