i havent seen us play 442. beckford is playing upfront, saha is playing behind him. previously cahill has played behind saha. whether saha is alone upfront or with another he still plays from deep, its not effective when tim plays as they both play from deep and no one is pressuring the defenders. cahill and saha both need to play with a man infront of them, they just cant play together.

as cahilll is still the fourth highest scorer in the prem this season, i think his goals from deep make up for not having a second striker. if anyone has took any notice in the last two games, saha is playing in the same role as cahill, mostly playing off beckford. not if saha starts scoring more than cahill then maybe, but tim has to play for me. as far as i can see, the system is still the same, just different personnel.

if he can stay fit, and keeps shooting, i dont want him going anywhere! if he loses it again, thats a different story.

I just want a striker who can either get on the end of a cross or can take a shot when he sees the goal. Beckford always shoots in sight, just seems he's not consistent with his shooting. I'd rather bentner than macheda to be honest

Not getting involved in all this, but AJ scored 13 pens out of the 19 goals he scored for palace in the prem so he was never a great goal scorer. The rest is boring now. I think moyes issue with it all was that we took the chance on him when no one else would, we put him in the window and he got in the national team, then he got offered big money and jumped ship asap.
