  1. Not really fussed, I'm not a big fan of London teams not am I one of Man Utd, so as long as its a good game for the neutral I'll be more than happy
  2. To be honest, can see him being given a red card and a lengthy ban if he did that
  3. Zed, it was a good read, but all I've experienced as an Everton fan is relegation battles, apart from the FA Cup win of course. I'm waiting for us to be the team that most people on here saw in the 80's, then I'll post what it was like to watch a great team. Until then, I'll watch patiently while the team is building to be that team
  4. I thought he was talkin about Rockport's, was thinking, they wouldn't give you an extra 2 inches...but I'm sure you'll get 2 with those...
  5. Heard it the first time they went down out of the Premiership
  6. Lol, it is wrong on a few levels but still gave me a little giggle
  7. Lol, that is mint tbf to the lads...
  8. Could have just read my last post in this topic, just a few above this one
  9. Nah, I was tempted to go up but didn't in the end. After that subliminal video he said that it'll make some people feel the need to come up to the stage, so was gonna pretend I felt the need but didn't bother in the end.
  10. Sly Stallone as our next 'keeper.
  11. This is like something from the playground. Blueboy, I don't understand why you have a problem with Zed whats he said about you? There was no snide remark, if anything it was actually the "if you can't see that your thick" remark that looks like a dig. I'm not defending Zed as I know he can defend himself but though you could have had the decency to pm him rather than publicly say it. Back on topic: I've already stated why I think Nolan is a better player and still believe what I said to be true. Sure Barton is a good player but I don't want someone at that club. If Pearce can't tame him I don't know who can.
  12. Welcome, enjoy your stay
  13. lol shhhhh Ok, here ya go Mike Much better than I expected
  14. I remember going to watch the 2-2 Cup game which we lost on Pens, awful stadium especially being with the Boro fans behind the goal the penalities were being take
  15. The FA must have realised that the Mascherano deal was dodgy as it took them ages to sort out, so surely they should have suspected the Tevez and dealt with it there and then. Teams have been deducted points for fielding ineligible players, West Ham also admitted it, so I think a mere 5.5 million fine is a cop out. The teams relegated are losing a hell of a lot of money, is it 30 million? So West Ham have actually got 25 million although they fielded an ineligible player. Now look at other teams who have done that, AFC Wimbledon were deducted 12 points, although it was eventually 3 and also Bury were thrown out of the FA cup for similiar wrong doings. Now how can that be fair? It seems one rule for the Premiership and another for the other leagues. Also don't forget one of the main reasons we stayed up a couple of years was because 'Boro were deducted points for not playing a game when, apparently, all the players were sick or injured. Think it's a complete joke to be honest that West Ham have got off to lightly as I don't see much happening with them now.
  16. Nah left for Leeds two years ago, wasn't exaclty living in Boro but all my uni mates were from there so often stayed at their house and had a fair few nights out. Not great nights out but if your pissed it always ends up being a good one
  17. Aye, was gonna say that 'Boro are apparently going to be puttin a case forward and they are already safe. It's certainly dodgy but I'm sure nothing will happen, although it is unfair on the other teams imo.
  18. Contracts don't mean naff all in todays game, especially when he might be reconsidering his future since big Sam has left Bolton.
  19. Was thinkin the same Zed, suppose it's better to do it now than 10 games into the next season I suppose. Still shocking the amount of ones today but Pearce getting sacked doesn't surprise me.
  20. Bloody hell thats a turn out for the books, didn't think he'd step down. Thought he might have wanted another crack of the whip but oh well sure he has something already lined up.
  21. I remember I went to watch him at the empire in 2005. Tbh can't really remember much about it apart from the odd trick, most of the time I was like, "wtf?!?, how the hell did he do that". It's good and remember he shown some subliminal footage which was quite cool. Some very good tricks but a quote in a brochure summed him up for me..."The closest out galaxy can boast to a Jedi Master" (Empire Magazine).
  22. Happy birthday, enjoy.
  23. No, but I know my name in Elvish is Angrod Séregon, well apparently. I'd love to learn another language but tbh on one hand it would be kinda cool for it to be Elvish but on the other it'll be completely sad and pointless.
  24. Out of all of them I'd have Nolan. Think he's been key in the success of Bolton in the past couple of years, he is also a player who shows commitment and can do an all round job, like Barton, but without the off (and on) field antics. I also think Nolan is a better player than Barton from what I've seen and heard of them both.
