He's certainly deserved a new contract for backup and agree with Mac get him as coaching staff as well after that. He his someone who will look after the younger players as well and some younger players can certainly improve a bit of Stubbs mentality to football and Everton rubs off on them.

You can see him twitching when the camera goes on him, but he proabably concentrates so much on the pitch that he doesn't suffer that much from it during a maytch

I can see his point on the security in a way. The amount of fans travelling into Athens and all English means they can't identify and seperate them in sectors which they can do a lot easier if the two sets of fans are from two different countries. However, I wasn't impressed with his comment that he's glad its not two English clubs as its meant to be a "pan-European competition" as if they're that concerned with that why they let 4 teams from England etc enter? If Man u went through, they would have deserved it and I don't recall any one from UEFA mentioning the Valencia and Real Madrid Final in the early 00's. Also, it's a all Spanish UEFA cup final and nothing has been mentioned about that. If's just UEFA being anti-English like bloody usual. What should be concerning them more is that the two finalists aren't even the two top teams in their country

Thats what I meant Heard he has done a deal with the guy wanting to buy Man City, but can't see why he'd leave Bolton now. He did say the reason was for the new manager to get some games under their belt with Bolton before the start of next season. My mate supports Bolton reckons Sammy Lee will just become the manager. That was exactly the same thought in my head just before they took the corner, and turned to my mate and was explaining why I wouldn't put him on Ronaldo when he then beats him in the air and heads it which results in an own goal Did anyone hear Nevilles post match comments? Was already half-cut, well ok very drunk so can't exactly remember what he said but sure he was praising Man U like no tomorrow, and remember getting worked up about it as its certainly not something you want to hear from the captain and the scorer of the own goal :glare:

It was sickening to tell you the truth. From absolute delight and buzzing to despair. Really gutted, Man U didn't play as good as they can but then neither did we. Thought we would win it after being 2-0 but then to see the whole team just give up thinking it was over is a low blow. Just stopped playing, no one wanted to advance at all but not gonna say too much against them as some of the performances this year certainly make up for one bad game. Got to single out Neville, absolute terrible game Hey oh, it was the top team in England so can't really complain. Just wonder what the difference would have been with Howard, but thats not a dig at Turner think he did well considering the circumstances he was in.

I detest Lost soooo much. Does make me laugh as my housemates love it and they get excited before watching an episode but then get pissed off after it because, like Aaron says, instead of answering questions they ask more. Also agree with Mike, they are blatantly cashing in on the success which I really don't like. Did watch it for a few episodes but it just weren't my cup of tea, I don't know why but there is something I really don't like about the show.

Precisely Jart, Yobo needs someone to lead him and keep him in order and we all know Stubbsy is the best of em to keep a playin in line, but I do think Lescott could do the job as well so think our defence is looking good as long as we get a decent left back in the line up.

Never had the pleasure of watching him play but can remember all the stories my dad told me about him. But it doesn't take a genuis to know that he was a legend at Everton and will be sorely missed by many Everton fans who have and haven't seen him play but his legend will live on in Everton. Thoughts go out to his family and friends.
