I'd follow that up Jamie tbh, I remember the link tried to mess me around so I sent (well my sister did) a nasty letter and they sent me the money they owed me straight away. About Virgin, just spoke to the supervisor who says work is going to be carried out tonight and should be finished by 7pm. He said that should fix the problem and that he doesn't know why the technician told me it won't be a month till its fixed. Hmm I believe the technician tbh so took his name and the department he supervised so will be ringing them up tomorrow if its still broken. I've never worked in a place like that but he did say hes going to leave a note on my account about our conversation so the person I ring will know what is going on. Not sure but is it true that you can ask for the notes they make on the account to see if they say anything bad about you?

Well I'm on to Virgin Media now, its been an hour and have been passed onto about 6 different people. All very helpful until the 6th. Basically my internet is crap and always has been for the past week. I rang them up the other day and they did some tests from their end and found I was getting considerably less speed than I should. They send a technician out today to test the modem and replace the wiring. He comes round checks my ip and says that the Virgin Media server I'm on is messed up as too many people are on it. He tells me its going to be a month to fix it so he suggests I ring them and ask them for a discount or move me to another server. Well as I said the first 5 people are helpful but keep passing me on. The next guy is a dick, won't believe me when I said its broken, does some tests and says that its fine. I'm not going to waste an hour on the phone if its not broken. After much of me telling him the problem him tellin me its fine I ask to speak to the supervisor. Which I'm on hold to now, still. Luckily, as I'm ringing from a mobile, one of the people at virgin media said that I should hang up and he'll call me straight away. Which he did thank god as now I feel the supervisor is leaving me on hold on purpose. Haha, but unfortunately for him I'm not wasting my money :-)

Proabably still keep ticket prices at around the 36 quid mark...

I'm the same as you Zed, hate it when they come back and keep asking if everythings ok. And it always happens just as you put some food in your mouth as well. On a seperate note, was in JD Sports in Leeds centre and it was closing time and I got my trainers and was waiting behind a pair of fellas. The woman on the counter was struggling as there was some complication but this lad wasn't happy. Then the guy behind me started moaning like hell but to be fair to the girl she was trying and the other staff were just stood around doing naff all. So I wait patiently and quietly. Finally I get to the counter, shes as snotty as hell with ME! She keeps apologising to the dick head behind me about the wait but not me. I never pay with my card as I don't like the bank knowing where I'm spending my money but this time I had too. Didn't know where to put the card and she told me in a tone I didn't like. She was still apologising to the guy behind me who was all like "don't worry love, seems your the only one working." she then slammed my reciept in the bag and pushed the bag towards me saying "there you go" in another tone I didn't like. A long story but it still pisses me off. She was all nice to the people who was mouthin off at her lack of service but I'm the one who gets the worse service. Getting worked up now and its too early, think I'll resist writing more...

I heard through someone at Virgin Media not to worry as its just a scare tactic and that sooner or later Sky will be back on Virgin otherwise Sky will lose loads of money. Haven't really kept up-to-date really but am a little annoyed as sky sports news has gone and thats the other thing I really watched on cable

Did u read it Evertonlad? lol. The video content was deleted but he still got his phone. A couple of years ago one of my mates was threatened and held up aggressively by his collar after he joked about one of the policeman when waiting to go into the turnstiles. Then about 4 of them searched is all, again quite forcefully pushing us back and turning us around and 'padding' us with a heavy hands (basically slapping us). Its not as bad as what you’ve gone through Goldie but still cause for concern in the way they acted. I'd like to say the club would help you out but in all honesty I'd be surprised they did any more than give your season ticket back. All the best of luck though and hopefully something will come about it.

Did you watch the right game yesterday craccer? I thought he played very well, always tracked back when he lost the ball and even when Arteta lost it Beattie ran all the way back to cover Arteta being out of position. Seems the people who slagged him off want him to play bad 'cos it'd prove they were right. Seems no matter what he does people always look at the couple of bad points in his game. Anyone can miss an easy chance. Give credit where credits due and yesterday BT derserves it for the effort he put in.

On SPN they were talking about it then saying everyone was bang out of order for booing moyes. Kept saying how much of a great job hes done. On a different not though Paul Merson was saying what a top club we are and that he would have been happy to play at Everton cos of the supporters and just kept complimenting the club and fans Was a bit cringeworthy though Matt Le Tissier was also saying how happy Beattie is at the club and in the area and he feels he just needs a few goals as hes a confidence player. Tbh no matter how much I try not to like BT I just can't.
