  1. Ossie without a doubt for me. Was a toss-up between him and TC at half time but Tim wasn't as effective in the second half. Pienaar, Donovan and Arteta very disappointing.

Thanks for that. Good luck yourselves in Germany on Thursday. Be nice to play you again so you can see the real Everton....the final would be good .
  3. Easy with Windows 7....you just use InPrivate Browsing and it doesn't know who you are .
  4. Burnley fans are doing well to keep Fletcher at the top. I've voted ten odd times for Felli but he's not moving....no-one else doing their bit .
  5. Wondered that myself for a minute but if you look at it again... £6-8m....$10-12m.

Yobo is in the squad....Senderos a doubt...no sign of Jags. Everton (from): Howard, Nash, Baines, Distin, Coleman, Yobo, Senderos, Neville, Osman, Arteta, Rodwell, Bilyaletdinov, Pienaar, Donovan, Gosling, Cahill, Saha, Yakubu, Vaughan, Duffy, Baxter, Forshaw. Distin/Yobo partnership ?? http://www.evertonfc.com/news/archive/41279/yobo-returns.html
  7. My guess would be that if you take a marketing degree in Thailand you're predominantly speaking Thai .
  8. Don't like it. You just know 100% that the first season it gets brought in then we finish 4th but lose out in the play-off to 7th placed Liverpool . Think we have a decent shot at the top four next year anyway and I'd rather we qualified like that.
  9. Second shirt for two seasons, nothing more to tell really. Worn (at a guess) 12/15 times in total.

He's a tennis player isn't he? Their form is even worse than I thought . Him and his mate Rocher make nice choccies though .
  11. First one is a variation on a classic (it's normally GEGS (9,4)....not seen the second one. I'll give it some thought. Used to be a real cryptic (and tougher) crossword nut. On two occasions won prizes in The Independent saturday magazine one....much tougher than standard cryptic :graduated: .
  12. Fully expect him to defect on Tuesday. Think he'll go into the home dressing room and refuse to come out until a binding pre-contract has been signed in blood .

I don't know stuff....I just look it up . Not entirely sure what you mean....are you saying the Europa Cup winners should get a place in the following years Champs League? Don't think that's a bad idea personally....although I'd guess that the winners would often qualify anyway through their own league.

Wrong sadly...posted before but...the relevant UEFA regulations... 18.17 For all matches from the start of the round of 32, a club may register a maximum of three new eligible players for the remaining matches in the current competition. Such registration must be completed by 1 February 2010 at the latest. This deadline cannot be extended. 18.18 One player from the above quota of three who has played UEFA club competition matches for another competing club in the current season may exceptionally be registered provided that the player has not been fielded: in the same competition for another club, for another club that is currently in the same competition. Furthermore, if the player’s new club is playing in the UEFA Europa League, his former club must not have played in the UEFA Europa League at any point in the current season. He has played in Europe for another club currently in the same competition. And all player registration had to have been completed by 1st Feb so there's no opportunity to add him to our list anyway. If Atletico had finished anywhere other than third in their Champs League group we'd have been OK.
  15. Didn't read that far down....assumed he was primarily central (according to wiki he is...Keegan played him at right back to try to improve his passing).
  16. http://www.newsoftheworld.co.uk/sport/football/727605/EVERTON-STILL-KEEN-ON-ONUOHA.html I know from following the Lescott saga on City sites that they rate this lad quite highly....or did. Seems like not a lot of money though.
  17. Thought you'd come up with a new nickname for him for a moment there Iggy . Wandering a bit off topic but I see City are rumoured to be going for Vidic in the summer http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/manchester_city/article7026425.ece Where would that leave Joleon?

If he's cup tied (which he is) he's cup tied. He won't be available even if Atletico get knocked out.
  19. He did but that was a bit of a freak season for him to be honest. He scored eight in 169 games for Wolves....fourteen in total for Everton in 113 games and has got one for City so far so he's not exactly prolific over his career, just for that season. Think those stats are league games only btw. Agree with Bailey....Jags is the man....Lescott's not worth half what we got for him.
  20. I see City conceded at home to Stoke today.....they'd tightened up their defence recently I thought....then I noticed Joleon was back from injury, first full game . That explained it.

I still think Shortage of Capital is a better answer to 27 than Tale of two cities. It works on so many levels....think my brain must be more highly evolved than the original setter .
  22. It'll change after you've got ten posts....to Reserve Player. Then it changes through different players the more you post. At some level you can choose your own....unsure how many posts you need for that off the top of my head.
