For anyone who doesn't know I live in the football wasteland of Devon, and a mate of mine just down the road is a QPR fan..... Tonight they're playing at Exeter in the Carling Cup (about 15 miles down the road). Saturday they're at Plymouth (little further down the M5). Next Tuesday they're at Bristol City (same distance, different direction). Costing him a few quid and I hope for his sake they don't lose them all but an unbelievable run of games!

The point is (as I've pointed out more than once) is that you're in EVERTON airspace here.....we can insult whoever we want football wise, and if you want to stay you have to learn to take it. Personal insults would be different, but it wasn't personal. Put simply, I can say "Mark Hughes is a cnut" but you can't say the same about Moyes. Geddit?.

That made me laugh a lot....not hysteria type laughing like us Evertonians do every window....proper laughing .

Think of it as a pub CTID (why pretend?). You walk into a City pub you can slag of who you like without any problem; walk into an Everton pub and you'll be welcome to have a drink and a chat if you remember where you are. Say all our players are shite, we're all secretly jealous of you and call the manager Gollum and you'll get chucked out (after a bit of a kicking from some of the more excitable locals probably). Pretty much everyone had us penned for relegation five years ago and we finished 4th. Villa were huge odds-on to finish 5th (or better) pretty much all last season. Spurs are always "penned in" to finish above us. Getting 5th is easy for you on paper, but unfortunately you have to do it on the pitch which is a little bit more tricky .

I did it for you (all part of the service) . All Davey's loan signings (other than the the four already mentioned)... Ibrahim Said. Went home to mother, cost virtually nothing. Brian McBride got us a few goals. Jeffers was a mistake (but an easy one to make). Matteo Ferrari didn't work out. Injuries played a big part in that and Davey decided a certain Wolves player was a better option so let him go. Fernandes. Shame (for some) he didn't stay but contibuted while he was here. Castillo. Disappointing. So only one failed to play for the first team and it depends on your definition as to who was a waste of time (Jeffers certainly was). Still think it's a good way to bring potential signings in and it's worked well for us.
