  1. There'll be something on here later.. http://www.myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=...amp;part=sports
  2. Got a codec pack that's made it work on the PC thanks Bill (http://www.cccp-project.net/). It's actually bloody good, gives you all the interactivity you get on a DVD on your PC, unlike AVI or MPG or whatever, and the picture quality is brilliant. Still not worked out how to put in onto DVD but that's no big deal.

  4. Knew I could rely on your technical expertise Bill.....surname's not Gates is it ?
  5. Downloaded a film for Josh today....movie of a book he's doing at school....and it's an MKV file . Not come across that before and can't find any way of converting it without paying. Any ideas? Either to convert to put onto DVD or a player so he can watch it on the PC.
  6. Agreeing. Although they beat ManU in the semi how much kudos did they get from beating Cardiff at Wembley compared to what an English team winning UEFA would get?
  7. Laws in Kentucky. -One may not own a red dyed rabbit or offer it for sale unless more than six are for sale at once. -No female shall appear in a bathing suit on any highway within this state unless she is escorted by at least two officers or unless she be armed with a club." Later, an amendment proposed: The provisions of this statute shall not apply to any female weighing less than sixty pounds nor exceeding 200 pounds; nor shall it apply to female horses. -All nude people in your house must be registered. -Anyone who has been drinking is "sober" until he or she "cannot hold onto the ground". -Every citizen of is required to take a shower once a year. -You need a license to walk around nude on your property. -It is illegal to shoot game out of the window of a moving vehicle, with the exception of a whale.
  8. Try this one... http://evertonfc.com/news/archive/moyes-charged.html If the ref's in touch with the fourth official over his head-set, and the fourth official has access to immediate replay (which presumably he does) could he not just have had a whisper in Wiley's ear, a la Zidane getting sent off in the world cup final, problem solved. Wouldn't have delayed play as it was already delayed .
  9. The nice people at the FA have solved the argument . I knew they'd do something useful one day .
  10. We'll have to agree to disagree Bill. There has to be a line where laws of the land take precedence of the rules of the game, otherwise (taken to extreme) players could stab one another. I think Guthrie crossed it.
  11. I was. Not on here but I said it to Josh when we first saw it....the report of the broken bone made me post it. If someone made that sort of unprovoked attack on the street on someone you cared about Bill would you be happy if they got just a slap on the wrist, broken bone or no? There has to come a point where the laws of the land extend onto the fottball pitch...where is it?
  12. You wouldn't so you've answered your own question. As I said, "where there's absolutlely no room for doubt, where it's blatant and everyone knows it." Was what Dunc went to prison for any worse than what Guthrie did? Is a pre-meditated potentially nose breaking head butt worse than a pre-meditated leg-breaking kick? If someone did it to me in the street I'd want them prosecuted, a long ban and he's getting off lightly imo.
  13. Oh my God we're all going to be sucked into a black hoooaaaaaarrgghhhhh...................
  14. On my 26th birthday Everton were the champions . Beat that '82! Have a good day, but always remember that I had a better one .
  15. A claivoyant on TT. (pm me the result will you fan and I'll get down the bookies....no need to tell everyone like )
  16. You should have claimed you meant it allegorically Jim, and then mocked Jamie as an intellectual lightweight for thinking you were talking literally, and everyone would have thought you were really clever....that's what I'd have done anyway . On subject, we need a clean sheet badly....not a repeat of the Kharkiv game. I'd settle for 1-0 personally because I think we'll score more than one in Belgium.
  17. Just heard this... Man City is just like Buzz Lightyear...they think, "To infinity and beyond!" But actually they're just somebody's toy .
  18. It'll never happen Bill for sure but for cases like this, where there's absolutlely no room for doubt, where it's blatant and everyone knows it, it would be a just punishment. Any case that needed referring to a panel would by definition not qualify.
  19. Heard an interesting idea on the radio just now. It's all wrong that Guthrie will get probably a three game ban while Fagan could be out for months so... In extreme circumstances like this ban the offender for as long as the victim is out injured, then maybe three games after that....punishment fitting the crime. Works for me.
  20. UEFA for me...we've had three FA Cup wins in my memory and four more final appearances against only one European trophy. I'd take either though....or both .
  21. And the little shit applauded the fans on the way off when he should have been hanging his head in shame.
  22. I see Danny Guthrie's assault on Craig Fagan had worse results than first thought. If ever a player needed prosecution through the legal system for something that happened on the pitch (open to question) he does. I couldn't believe it, and it was his second attempt as well. Ridiculous that the beeb call it a "tackle." http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ity/7617057.stm
