  1. So now we're ManU's feeder club? Never heard such a pile of shite in my life. (is this the toffeetalk josh berno? ) Likely I should think.....has as much knowledge as my rabbit, should be ashamed of himself if it is !
  2. Couple of interesting points from the site that JD linked about this time last year... First the club coefficient table (which is added to 33% of the countries rating) confirms that this year we're going to have none of last years worries about coming up against higher seeded teams... http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/d.../tcoef2008.html Then the full list of Euro qualifiers which will carry on being updated so we know who we're potentially up against... http://www.xs4all.nl/~kassiesa/bert/uefa/qual2008.html Valencia, Sevilla, Sampdoria, Udinese, Paris Saint-Germain, Benfica, Dinamo ( ) & Rapid Bucharest, Feyenoord, CSKA Moscow, Metalist, Dnipro, Queen of the South, Motherwell, Club Brugge, Besiktas, AEK Athens, FC Zürich, Viking Stavanger, Bronby, Austria Vienna, Legia Warsaw, Hajduk Split, St. Patrick's Athletic, Glentoran and Bangor City to name but a few who are already in .
  3. Not disagreeing with you Bill, but it said (remembered where now) on the BBC site match preview, where it always gives highest and lowest possible positions after each game, it also gave the merit payment for each place. Can't remember what the payment was but for sure there was £720,000 between the two figures because I almost posted it . Edit... Prize money. ManU £14.4m Chelski £13.68m Arsenal £12.96m L'pool £12.24m Everton £11.52m So if your base figure of £30m is right Bill then we have £41.52m plus TV money plus a spot of petty cash from ManU for the Rooney deal .
  4. More from the Mail..... Moyes also made it clear that he expects fruitful talks about his new contract "in the next week or so". Moyes said: "I am totally relaxed about the situation. I am due for some talks maybe in a few days, maybe next week. "Every manager tries to get as much money as he can, but this board have always backed me and I don't expect that to change. "I am more interested now in preparing for next season, getting the lads back in July and work and I go into that campaign with great optimism."
  5. Which barmaid at what pub Bill? Does she know Mrs Moyse's chiropodist's nephew? Don't keep important information like that to yourself!!
  6. I deffo read a couple of days back that 5th over 6th was worth £720k to us so I think, certainly as far as that's concerned, mouse is correct .
  7. Really ? You need to do a bit more than Tommy has to achieve that status.
  8. Good grief I finally got one right !
  9. Thanks mate.....give Conor an extra pack of chocolate buttons to celebrate....he's wise beyond his years !
  10. Waited 3,410 minutes for it....worth waiting for .
  11. Yak 20....21 and a pen ! Joleon 10. Perfect end!
  12. Had fourteen shots against two for Newcastle according to the beeb, can't let this slip can we? Villa just taken the lead .
  13. http://www3.myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid...amp;part=sports Not sopcast so no good to me but it's all I can find.
  14. Richard Dunne red card, may screw up City's chances....or may not....far too complicated to work out just now .
  15. I'll have some of what you're drinking!
  16. Would be a nice feeling if it were true and it meant anything....but it isn't and it doesn't. Man City will very likely get it, and even if we did get it it's no better than the Intertoto place we're already assured of.....six games to reach the first round proper either way, so it changes absolutely nothing for us.
  17. Unbelievable stuff.....well no actually, not for the Italian football fraternity .
  18. First ten members registered on this version (starting July '02) are... Coyle BlueBob Hughesy Soccerelite SuperKarl Charlatan nfw BlueGnu Dixie Roo Regulars all . ...number 18 was waynerooneyforever . Have to go down to 57 to find a current familiar name, Pat.
  19. Why should this year be any different to all the previous off seasons/transfer windows? Did you really expect any different? It's the Everton way .
  20. Kevin Keegan will be without Mark Viduka and Joey Barton for the match with Everton, so some enforced chances will be made. He was already without Shay Given and James Milner, and Emre has been allowed to join Turkey early ahead of the European Championships, so with Stephen Carr and Peter Ramage already told they can leave in the summer Keegan is down to just 17 players to select his 16 from. Evens it up a bit .
  21. Everton will give late fitness tests to several players before the game with Newcastle. Manager David Moyes wouldn't be drawn on the identity of the afflicted parties - but will definitely be without Mikel Arteta who underwent surgery this week. Moyes said: "We aren't looking great. We have a lot of injuries and there are quite a lot of players who we'll fitness test before the game on Sunday." "We are going to be tight for numbers, there are three or four doubts."
  22. I've got a niece called Tegan, spelt differently but it's a nice name .
  23. So who's baby was it Louis? Was it all your own work or were there others involved, you were only sixteen at the time .
  24. It's a place in the first qualifying round though, which is effectively no different from the Intertoto. Win one game and you're in the second qualifying round. A point on Sunday saves us six games because we'll go straight into the first round proper.
