Nothing to do with your eyesight....ridiculous ad imo. Supposedly points out that you need to look at everything while you're driving so you don't mow down cyclists. The daft bit is that you don't actually drive around counting the number of cars/pedestrians/traffic lights you see, which would be the only comparable situation to the test. Think you'd be a more dangerous driver if you did notice the bear. Would mean you have poor concentration and are easily distracted.

Some interesting points. Extremely sad that kids are being priced out of going to games, average age 43 is tragic. I think it's well intentioned but I don't really see it working, if people wanted to watch a "junior" version of their club they could just watch the reserves.

Peaking at Mexico in 1970 imo...the '66 World Cup passed me by sadly because I was only six, and the TV coverage back then was such that I didn't see them until the finals. Without any question the finest XI ever to play the game imo (although we gave them a hell of a game in the group match). Tostão was a personal fave. DWWWWL v WLLLWD You'd have got fairly long odds before the week-end of us going into this game with the Hammers on the back of a good win and us coming off our first really disappointing league defeat in the best part of five months. The one thing the Irons fans seemed to agree on when I put some questions to them was that the result next Saturday would be 4-0 to us....they may have reconsidered in the light of this week end's results (although their equal worst ever defeat was 7-0 at Goodison Park in 1927). I think outside investment and a stadium to match the fan base is essential to even TRY to keep up with the likes of Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool. The balance is trying not to lose the affinity and identity of the club as you know it. Moving to Kirby which is effectively outside Liverpool may not please all Evertonians I suspect MadTyrant Too early to tell, we've been in flux since the Icelanders took over. We were sucked into a relegation dog-fight last season and this year has been less successful than our first year back in the Premiership (9th and an FA Cup Final). After a little lie down I've just realised that I misread your post a bit Carl....when you said, "we're now possibly out of the UEFA and the Champions League running." I read it as being out of the UEFA running for next season when you were referring to being out of this season's competition . Apologies. And like 250 says, congratulations on your wedding!! What the fuck are you talking about? This reaction (not just yours Carl) is completely beyond me. One league defeat (apart from Arsenal & ManU) in five fucking months and it's the end of the world. We've matched the top three point for point for nineteen games....half a season ffs...semi final of the Carling Cup, excellent run in Europe, coped with the ACN and we're only eleven points off the top of the table. Complete fucking dreamland at the start of the season....even more so after a dodgy start and only thirteen points from the first ten games. Get a grip people. We're still red hot with the bookies for fifth. If we were sixth or seventh looking at a team 6/7 points ahead of us and a far superior goal difference with only eight games left we'd give ourselves no chance at all of catching them. Disappointing but perspective needed. This is the first really bad result, the first unexpected loss in the league since St James' Park. That was five and a half months ago. It happens to all teams...it's happened to all the top four this season and it always will happen. A real pain and a missed opportunity but not the end of the world.

Unchanged... David Moyes has named an unchanged starting XI for today's clash with Fulham. That is little surprise after the quality of the performance against Fiorentina in the midweek Uefa Cup encounter at Goodison Park. And with Tim Cahill still not recovered from a hip and foot problem and Victor Anichebe failing a late fitness test and missing out on a place on the bench, the manager's options are very defensive amongst the substitutes. Teenager Jack Rodwell is joined by fellow defender Nuno Valente, Tony Hibbert and Leighton Baines as the outfiled options on the sidelines. The starting line-up once again sees Leon Osman and Lee Carsley partnering in the centre of midfield, with Mikel Arteta and Steven Pienaar likely to switch between flanks in a bid to unlock the Fulham defence and end Everton's 42 year wait for a victory at Craven Cottage.
