This post is not about the match, but I heard something disturbing today and I wanted to find out if its true. A Friend told me that after the Cardiff game 2 Everton fans ( A father and his 15 year old son) were ambushed when they were on their own and badly beaten up by a gang of Cardiff thugs at the train station after the game. Apparently it was on the news down here in South Wales. First ive heard of this, I was at the game and the station and saw no hint of trouble but Cardiff carry a reputation for trouble that I know the club has tried hard to eradicate. Does any of you know anything about this ? If true its an utter cowardly disgrace the 2 attacked must have been terrified. Hate to think 2 of my fellow Evertonians were treated like that in Wales. l am furious and shocked by this story, so can anyone confirm it.

Same for me this sat, a day out wifes choice, the famous old art of keep em sweet eh. Fair play she knows what im like about Everton, whether I go to the game, watching sky, or on the computer she never complains, so gotta do my bit in return. Also our legendary lads Blackpool trip is looming ( Oct 4th) 16 of us going. So at the moment I don't refuse the wifes requests important to be in the good books ( As you no doubt know) Hate these bloody international break weekends though. I live, eat and breathe Everton cant help that, it will never change.

Seamus has come on leaps and bounds since when he first joined,, Full back and at times a damn exciting right winger. A cracking player, very found of him, and as for the abusive comments, these people don't seem like Evertonians to me just a bunch of arseholes.

I only watch internationals if Everton lads are involved to be honest except the actual tournaments. Wales were just starting to look half tidy, when we had the Gary Speed tragedy. All I want these days is For Jags, Bainesy and now Ross to have a good game, and much more importantly not to get injured. Ditto Mirallas, Coleman etc. Don't know how you all feel but compared to Everton it matters little to me.

Oh Yeah Maroon watch your Grammar, when I joined my spacing, grammar etc were all over the place and Mr DK was the first to pounce. But he was right and im learning as I go along. Besides the obvious Hibs how are Hearts fans feelings about other Scottish clubs especially the Glasgow ones ? I personally hate Liverpool, and Liverpool and fucking Liverpool, but since Moyes joined Man Utd and their vile behaviour starting to detest them also.

Who are biggest rivals Alguna ? Is there a team or teams Almeria have traditional rivalries with ? And what is your ground called, its capacity and the average attendance ? its just that Almeria are a club I don't know much about ( nothing to say the truth). In Spain I always look for the results of clubs like Atletico Madrid and Espanyol because like Everton they are in the same city as a more successful club ( hated to say that). Also Atletico Bilbao because of the Everton link with our great boss Howard Kendall. . But will now check on Almeria also. He didn't push out of respect for the club and us fans, a man of honour is our Leighton. But even with the window shut United according to the press ( yeah I know you have to sift the shit to get at truth) have already stated their intent to try again. When he came over to us fans at the end of the Cardiff match, he was the nearest to us and last one there, and I thought " Oh shit is he saying Goodbye" but thank god he was,nt. I just don't want him to go period. As a player and a man Leighton Baines is a class act.

Alguna I notice you are getting right in with toffee talk, making good regular posts. As you see you get addicted to it As you no doubt know we had a great transfer window and all Evertonians are well pleased, How are your boys Almeria doing ? Do a post on them know and then, let everyone know there is life beyond Barcelona, Real Madrid ,Atletico and Valencia etc.

Welcome Maroon. I admire Hearts fans tremendously cos you Jam Tarts have had to put up with so much worry in recent years with your very existence as a club in doubt. Hope they are now on healthier footing. One thing I,d say about Everton fans which I hope you see, is we mostly a fair bunch call a spade a spade and give credit where it due. We did some great business, and overall im delighted just wondering who would be dropped to accommodate Barry or will he be mostly on the bench, be interesting to see what Roberto does with 2 totally different midfielders coming in, but have more options and more competition can only be good. But im in no doubt that Bastard Moyes and his shower will be back in January for Leighton Baines unless the insulting disrespectful twat is sacked before then.

Bill has had some fearsome abuse off a lot of Evertonians, but credit where it is due his performance in the transfer window has been great, 3 excellent signings ( well 2 and 1 we,ll see about in Barry,s case and we squeezed top money out of United and treated them with the contempt they richly deserve. And if the story of him refusing to take calls off Moyes directly has any weight, then I congratulate him. Plus as in when some folk griped about the choice of Martinez, and I wondered who else was there, the same applies with Kenwright until some yet unknown buyer comes in, I again ask who else is there ?. One incident that said it all was after the Wigan F.A Cup shambles, we beat Man City in the next game with a performance of pride and passion. Bill was in tears and even the most biased could not say it was for the camera. Fact is Bill Kenwright loves Everton Football Club with all his heart and I empathise and respect that totally. Also even at bad times he always walks down Goodison road before a home game flak or not. He also has integrity and respect in his dealings with other clubs and in return is respected by those other clubs. So unless some billionaire comes in Bill Kenwright is our chairman like it or lump it. I personally think he does his best for us. My only quibble is how the fuck that awful crest got rubber stamped, but an apology was issued with candour and the mistake will be learned from.. The latest as I understand Fellaini is a manc ( fuck off and join your twat manager) Oh my god lads, all of you we,ve only gone and done it. James McCarthy, Romulu Lukaku ( joy, sheer, joy) and Gareth Barry (we will give the lad a chance despite the doubts) and Leighton (we love you) Baines is staying. I can sleep happy, work happy.. At the moment this is turning into one huge damp squib, Keeping Bainesy of course fantastic but im getting worried that we,ll end up with Fellaini going and knowing us just ending up with Gareth sodding Barry.
