you bring up a great point steve, with all the economic unrest there it might not be a good situation to go into as a player. unless he gets them to pay him in sterling/us dollar which isn't uncommon. the marseille coach biesla gets paid in US dollars.

barkley wasn't played under moyes except a few small cameos. he had his breakout season under RM (his first season). i would definately include him in there. Yeah dude this guy isn't starting in front of stones or jags, all the CB we are linked with are backup players, no need to worry there.

31 games started, 103 saves and 11 clean sheets. for a team that was saved from relegation by drawing with barca 2-2- on the final match of the season, not bad. 11 clean sheets for a terrible team is pretty nice. conceded 60 goals ended up with a -25 goal difference. about all i can glean. no idea who the guy is, but stats wise seems like a good player on a not good team.

this sounds good. RM has a great track record of getting players that just need more confidence (lennon, barkley, gerry, romelu, stones) to get to their best, and if he has a great skill set, this could be the perfect setting for him. 27 is a great age as well, and if they paid 11m for him, maybe we can get him for a deal since they just splashed on Mandzukic.
