  1. Hell yes, would be a solid winger on the bench and for cup matches.
  2. would be nice if mccarthy is in this list this year looks like colback would have been a decent signing after all.
  3. i like the look of that paul. 4141, 451, 433? either way great formation and does seem to maximize the various talents of each individual.
  4. good for him, i liked their squad last year. yannick ferreira carrasco is fantastic as well for monaco. they could do with getting a better kit though, hate that kit, looks homebrew.
  5. just generalities saying i'd prefer those 3 of the bench the most. obviously a keeper is injured you put a keeper in. i'm bored at work mike and it's friday and itching for blues football, just trying to get excited about next season that's all. also i still think osman has a decent sized role to play for us.
  6. yes this year looks tough to be honest. we have a difficult group with honduras and panama. but since all the matches are "home" one would hope that we could clean sweep the group.
  7. agreed, mirallas could as well if he stays. mccarthy barry/barkley gerry mirallas osman/cleverly lukaku could be a nice look there too. l
  8. lol, not much to be honest, just robles and gerry in there i don't think tom will start to begin the season unless mirallas leaves. i think RM will slowly work him in and well see what position he views him as. i'd love barkley in the barry position but i just don't see RM doing that, and with less minutes this year barry might have a resurgence.
  9. agreed. something to be said about having class and being above bullying the ref. being linked with stoke today, mark hughes really has turned that ship in a better direction from the pulis days.
  10. Gold Cup roster announced, seems JK is going all in for the win to get us to the Confederations Cup. I don't blame him, it would better a great competition and learning experience for the team and could help us with the 2018 WC.
  11. the amount of money being talked about for sterling is absolutely mind boggling. 40-50 million? seems its just the premier league though who think he's something else (no doubt the homegrown status helps). haven't heard of any interest lately from PSG, Bayern, Real, Barca, Juve, etc. which makes you wonder how talented he is.
  12. us plays china tonight in the quarterfinals, this afternoon its france and germany. winners play one another. luckily the US has lauren holiday on yellows suspended, she has been terrible and yet this coach keeps playing her. i'd like to see this tonight solo krieger johnston sauerbrunn klingenberg o'reilly brian lloyd press leyroux morgan kill them with speed, no more long ball hoof with wambach. she can come on with 20 minutes left and head in a goal, we don't need to play that way for 90 minutes.
  13. Lineup for next season with transfers so far Robles Coleman Stones Jags Baines McCarthy Barry Deulofeu Barkley Mirallas Lukaku Subs - Cleverley for Mirallas, Osman for Barkley, besic for barry. Not bad so far me thinks.

  16. Man united is doing the same thing with cleverly. It's not petty just standard following the contract. I don't think Gerry can train with us till the 30th as well.
  17. Let's bring some sanity back. I love romelu, one of my favorites on the squad. Absolute beast and goal scoring machine. 5 years from now he will be winning the champions league somewhere destroying centre backs and we'll look back and remember we actually argued about if he was class or not. He's class and then some. COYB
  18. his name alone should be worth something to a team there. At his age he could play 2 more years in that league even at his current form. He would be an easy sell.
  19. Vancouver is a great city, been there a few times and enjoyed it. Had a great Italian meal in the gas lamp district, it was probably one of the best meals of my life. I'm a kings fan in hockey, lived in Los Angeles for a while and enjoyed the couple cup wins we had. Anyway back to topic vault me anyone in saying a cup victory is ours this year.
  20. spot on mike. got a hell of a player in gerry, a work in progress in cleverly, we're halfway there just need 2 more players to round out an already solid lineup to take us up a notch.
  21. i think it will be a backup CB and number 10 left to sign. dann will be too much and probably won't want to come in to be a backup to stones and jags. the number 10 is a mystery currently, nothing leaked yet so maybe that one will go down to the deadline.
  22. good for him. bournemouth sign tyrone mings, great player there.
