I still don't get this. Not aimed at you MC. We need people to link up with the full backs, the wingers don't do that and we suffered for most of the season for it. We need players of the Pienaar / Ossie ilk to improve our play, not wingers.
Anyway, if he really is happy he deserves a new contract.
Would be interesting to see osman and Lennon on the wing and mirallas in the middle creating. Give it a shot rm.

Sevilla up 2-0 away, that's 5-0 agg, they're through to the finals, good for them.
Dnipro up 1-0 on Napoli, that's 2-1 agg. Very surprised they are beating Napoli, but the italians have a CL place in the league to fight for as well, so maybe they are stretched thin, or maybe the Ukrainians are that good.

I would like Ings, Garbutt, Flanagan, Milner, Richards. If we can't get Richards, Guy Demel would be fine as a backup.

I'm 5'11" and about 225. I wore a large in the Le Coq Sportif shirts and an XL (which was slightly big) in the Nike.
Considering your height, I think you should get an XL and not an XXL. I say this assuming you like your jersey to fit more like a shirt and less like you are in G-Unit.
(That's honestly the most current hip-hop reference I can make)

i've thought about this as well. i doubt he will want to be backup, he was a man city, now in italy, i think he will go somewhere he can start. he is still young so the payday isn't as big a deal.

agreed, let him play his contract and when it gets closer to winding down either sign him to another deal or if he wants to go to a bigger club then that's fine, but not now.

To be fair, we don't know the story but Garbutt may of told him he is definitely not signing and wants away. If that's the case He shouldn't play him.
Not saying it is but if he doesn't play it COULD be why.
great point pad. i understand everyone thinks garbutt is going to be the next greatest thing but take a journey with me to last season. Man United have Patrice Evra a quality LB who is getting up in age so they get rid of him by not re-signing him or offering him a deal. They get "next greatest young talent" Luke Shaw and Marcus Rojo. Neither guys pan out, Patrice Evra is in the CL final with Juve and has been a key part of their success in that solid back line.
Let's not make the same mistake. Like my father says "1 in hand is better than 2 in the bush"

Honest to god, if we have to rely on Fair Play to get in, we're well off the pace for the competition.
After last season's league debacle that was set up by being in the Europa League, I'm amazed that there are fans who are hoping to get in the competition again. I said about 3/4 years ago ' be careful what you wish for'. I hate to rub it in, but why in god's name do we want to do that again?
Our squad is paper thin and many players are not able to commit fully to 2 games a week (why, I don't know). Another season like this one would be a punishing one both physically and mentally for the players. FFS, give them a rest...I know I need one away from the crap we've been served up this season.

We need to be positive and put our name out in Europe to,attract better players.
Yes if we qualify it will be a strange Way to qualify....but it's what the club does with a given opportunity.
We should grasp it and make a statement.

16 stone is what 16kilo? I'm 6'2" and 225 lbs. I'm not fat just have very broad chest and shoulders. maybe I will get a 2X, they have it in the retro kits. Get my bob latch ford on

XL is probably the way to go then Mark I'd agree; but don't put them through the "dry" cycle, never do with mine. Just put them on a radiator or hang them from a line.
Funny thing is I was a medium for years (I'm close to six feet but naturally quite slim) but in the last few years age and inactivity set in and I moved to large and my old ones were too tight. Then I got the unwanted medically induced weight loss eighteen odd months ago and all my old mediums fit me again
.Now I'm back closer to my fighting weight I need large again at the same time my lad's hit eighteen so he's stolen all my old mediums

careful dude, it'll be as long as stocks last, and the home kit this year was great. The other kits will be available well into next season
okay, i'm worried about sizing too. you guys have H&M and we do too now, but their european cut on shirts its like everything is too small for me. i'm a tall and thick framed fellow (thanks Slovak heritage) so I'm guessing the Large (euro cut?) will be snug after a few wash and dry cycles, so it's Away or Third kit for me with XL i guess.

Besic doesn't fit our system Matt. Clearly evident we don't click when he's the link from defence and attack.
we said the same about ross barkley when he was sent back from leeds and played for 30 minutes under moyes. give him a proper full season and actual opportunities (ie bench barry or sell mccarthy) and i bet he will do just fine.

yeah, the success with had with moyes on the left was all baines pienaar and he's not a traditional winger. i used to love those heat maps, poor seamus barely saw the ball it was like 75% left side.
