  1. Depends on how many they have left in stock. Away shirt is only £15 now, why not get one of those?

just looked on the website, all kits are $32 plus 11 for shipping. so 43 out the door. thanks Mike, i'll have to get the wife to order before they sell out. :jump for joy:

  2. Want Real to win here for an El Classico final, with Barca winning. Only downside will be the buildup and inevitable soap opera antics...

yes, hence why i don't want el classico, its been overdone too many times now and barca would destroy them, MSN is the most potent attacking force since the samurai's :guns:

juve has a great lineup too, i didn't realize how stacked they were talent wise in midfield.

  3. Been disappointed with Barkley, dribbles and dribbles until he runs into a dead end and loses the ball, also tends to make cock ups with his passing, loses impact every time at the end of a run.

He gets surrounded, spins this way and that, then either loses it or passes backwards, 50% of his passes dont make it to our players.

i'm sure at 21 years of age you had the world figured out and were perfect too.

  4.

i like the guy more with each passing day. class act.

to your point bill - could be worth a try, he is usually played as either a CB or DCM with Bosnia so he's not necessarily used to being heavily involved in the attack, but i think it's worth a shot.

he seems to me that he could be in the mold of a sergio busquets, primarily a defender who is the only sitter who can distribute and pass. but who knows, he's just getting started, he could elevate his game to another level attacking wise.

  5. Bit scary this if you're a Barca player; Suarez looking to bite his own team mates by the look of it. I wouldn't want those teeth coming at me!

jokes aside they are unstoppable at the moment. 3-2 away at bayern, 5-3 win on agg, i think they will win Liga and Champs League, Suarez happily assisting on Messi and Neymar goals, they are as selfless as egotistical narcissistic footballers can be

  6.

Of course it it, that was my point. I don't understand how you've come from describing it as "clever" to "ludicrous" in a couple of posts .

i meant the clever sarcastically, i need to use the emoji's more, i'm a very dry humour type guy monotone and all that. need the emoji's to help. :afro2::afro2:

also maybe glitch wasn't the right word, but i can't think of anything better at the moment.

thirdly maybe i'm pissed cause i'm absolutely horrid at this game. i pick us to win every game and i'm near lowest points per prediction. it's all roberto's fault!! :67:

  7. The only players I see with little/nothing to offer are Distin, Alcaraz, McGeady and Kone. Add Atsu to this as a wasted loan. I would be happy to see all of the above go.

Players like Osman, Pienaar, Barry and Howard are still important SQUAD players and will be next season (??? over Pienaar's fitness though).

I would say Osman, Hibbert, Jagielka and Baines' importance goes beyond the pitch - to me, as local lads they are needed throughout different stages of the club - the role-models/ambassadors for youngsters, the local community link.

We're quick to write off players after a poor season. Too many wholesale changes (which gladly won't happen) can ruin previous hard-work and foundations.

agreed. i'll be the first to admit i've been cold on hibbert, osman, pienaar and barry unreasonably so this year. but they've all proven me wrong. we could use them next year and for the most part they aren't super high wages. howard is another story but he has a thread for that.

Kone and Mcgeady honestly might be worth keeping around just because they are cheap and i don't think we'd get anything for them.

  8.

How is that a glitch? It's just hedging your bets and guarantees you won't get a perfect score; don't see that it's clever to ensure you get one point while ruling out the possibility of ten .

because if you predict us winning someone has to score for us to win. by predicting a win without anyone scoring you are making an impossible bet. i understand there is the own goal angle but hedging your bets in an internet free match is ludicrous in my opionion.

  9. Cleverley said he wanted to come to Everton but this was when they were playing negative football under Lambert. With Sherwood he looks a completely different player, looks decent, quick on the ball, confident and not afraid to put a tackle in. This is what Sherwood seems to be able to do is get players confidence up again. It happened with Adebayor at Spurs. I think Cleverley under Sherwood will sign a contract with Villa.

spot on, Sherwood really seems to be able to motivate players and get the best out of them. His tactics may be suspect, but you can't fault him on heart and grit.

  10. We are suffering from a grandiose idea that our players are something special. A look at any TV fixture will tell you that most of the team are average and some slightly more so, some slightly less.

There is not one stand out player that we could say truthfully (without the blinkers on)that is top class. Attack, midfield or defence most of our team are at best second tier against the likes of City and Chelsea players.

Yes, I know that we're not able to afford the top players, so why do so many on here expect those sort of performances? Very few of Everton's side ever play at their full potential, most only a few times a season. Most players have average games and the odd stinker, unfortunately the stinkers happen when other players have their stinker too. Result...pick any game this season against a lower-placed side.

Some players play at a constant level, Stones for instance who hardly puts a foot wrong. Baines and Coleman however are great players on their day, but cracks are showing in their games, Coleman is in and out of form and Baines often looks like he'd rather be somewhere else.

We need some wholesale changes, either of players or attitude to achieve anything remotely resembling a good team. Shit, even the likes of Stoke and Swansea have better attitudes than Everton and there would be few supporters of this club who would say thet either of them were better teams.

    do you know the squad?

coleman - one of the best rb in league, irish international

jags - one of the best cb in league, starting england cb

stones - amazing prospect, english international

baines - best lb in league, starting england LB

mccarthy - one of the best DCM in the league, starting irish cm

barkley - amazing prospect, english international

mirallas - former greek leading scorer, class player, belgian international

lukaku - amazing prospect, belgian international

that's 8 of the starting 11, tell me again how our players aren't special?

  11. cant see that happening, what makes you think so?

yeah me neither. i was hesitant with monk but he knows what he's doing now. now in the transfer market that's another thing, time will tell but he can manage. that squad doesn't have any real standout players, sigurrdsson and fabianski are it.

and romey yeah i thought it was great fabianski shut them out. i love when players give it to their old club, prove them wrong and all that.
