Yes please. Price should have dropped after the Sevilla stint so go get him bill!
-
There's also a reason he's missed significant time with Belgium and villa, he's injury prone. He's at 32.5m which is more than lukaku. Plus he's 3 years older. No thanks.
-
Depending on how expensive he would be a solid 3rd centre back.
-
I'm with mike, arse to win and soton get Europa. First because they deserve it. Proper club and youth academy. Excellent manager.
I picked them to go down, but koeman won me over. Posted the empty training ground when all the players were jumping ship and I thought it was hilarious.
-
7m euro? Shit rm send them 12m euro and call it a day, this guys the real deal and is cheap as hell.
-
i read somewhere the first vote was 133 to 76 or something. and Prince Ali withdrew before the second forseeing no one would jump ship.
Glad he got that many votes.

How many "awkward" situations Ferguson have at ManU? Beckham & Keane were the highest profile; he didn't piss about he moved them on however good they were, I saw no sign of United "rotting" as a result.....that happened after he left and the new manager maybe tried to appease the players a bit and pander to their egos.
spot on mike. no one is bigger than the club, and even though RM is a nice guy, you're still not bigger than him kev.
-
Fag paper between Distin and Alcaraz all year; toss of a coin between the two of them for me. Neither good enough though.
no need to use slurs against homosexuals mike :shaking fist:

you aren't following west ham anymore?
-
bye kev, don't let the door hit you on the way out. now RM please sign lennon, gerry, and nolito.
-
Waste of money according to this..
http://www.espnfc.us/club/liverpool/364/blog/post/2471373/benteke-potentially-a-waste-of-325m
yes i read that. seems to think rodgers isn't likely to play to his strengths because he doesn't play to lamberts when he's on the field and thinks they're similar. either way, he and rom where neck and neck for a while so the 28m we paid doesn't seem so bad now seeing him go for more and he's more injury prone.

- In more manager news, David Moyes has reportedly decided against a return to the Premier League to manage Sunderland next season. The Daily Mail claim the former Man United boss isn't interested in replacing the recently departed Dick Advocaat, who helped the Black Cats avoid a serious relegation threat at the end of the season.

good for clyne saying he can acheieve his ambitions with soton. i applaud that and hope they give him a nice deal. also nice to stick it to liverpool
in other news the Benteke to Kop story is gathering steam, 32.5m pounds being bandied about. so he will be more expensive than rom, sounds like we got a steal

3-1 and it's the Steelman taking it back home with a 2 goal lead. Made up for them. I saw a hilarious quote on the BBC feed
"seeing the difference in quality between the premier league Motherwell and Championship Rangers, maybe we should temper our expectations for Hearts next season"
Sorry Hearts
-
and that's 3!!! Rangers surely long long odds now to make it through
-
brilliant! thanks mike, the steelmen, i dig it
0-2. i can see mike ashley weeping already
-
Motherwell up 1-0 on Rangers at the Ibrox. Come on (don't know their nickname) mothers!!!
-
Blatter will walk it.
He has the majority support of every confederation minus UEFA.
Australia, USA, some Asian countries and 75% of UEFA are to vote for Ali.
If they wanted to, UEFA nations could sign an agreement not to enter the World Cup in 2022 and Blatter would withdraw in an instant. It won't happen though.
where does south america sit with all this? they have the richest history with UEFA, i wonder who they back?
-
i love it. phil and romelu. i loved the european campaign, i wish we were able to pull it out in kiev. here's to the next one!!
-
CAF (Africa) still supports Blatter, if the vote goes ahead he'll almost certainly win it.
so his major support is asia and africa. is that enough? europe, south america, and concacaf and oceania, but i'm guessing not every single rep will vote for Ali in those.
hope you're wrong mike, this guy needs to go.
-
swiss filed charges today as well, and UEFA said they are backing Prince Ali. Asia is still behind Blatter, let's hope the americas and africa go with Prince Ali.
-
glad sevilla won, great squad and they used the rakitic money well. i hope they do well in CL next year
-
sad for alguna vaz tonelada (spelling?) who's on here, he's an almeria supporter.
