If the Chang deal is supposed to be tapping into the Asian market they have it all so wrong, I've been in Asia (Singapore) for 5 months now and spent a lot of time in Thailand which is where our hotel is located. Chang is massive here it's on tap and bottled in every bar in Thailand, bottles in every bar in Singapore and readily available in supermarkets. I've also recently become aware that Chang are big real estate owners in Singapore including a string of hotels.

Can I find anywhere to watch an Everton game? NO!

Can I find anywhere to buy any Everton Merchandise? NO!

Have I ever seen anything with Chang and Everton on here (billboards / advertising)? NO!

It's disappointing because the premier league is massive in Singapore and Malaysia, not so much in Thailand but on the whole Asia loves it's EPL. I really think if we are going to renew the Chang deal then a far better marketing side needs to be put in place. This is an untapped market everybody supports ManU, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal and a small following of City due to their recent success. The Kitbag deal really holds us back too, the shops here could be flooded with the royal blue of Everton holding a sponsor that everybody knows but there really is nothing!

Another thing which I thought the other day while watching the piss poor Asian games, was we could send the youth squad over here to take on the full Asian national sides on a pre season tour and the boys would run all over them. They have no games to play because they never qualify for anything apart from tin pot tournaments they arrange between themselves so they would love it and it would really raise our profile while the main team were doing their usual trawling of america. Which by the way I think is a waste of time now as the American league is growing and has some great players so why would they be that interested in the prem?

I've got nothing against it. TBH Blue Bill has wound me up over the past few years but really, if he had any cash would anyone be complaining about him?

I've got dirty kopite mates who have praised our community and charity work in the past few weeks, the kids at Goodison and the pic of Bobby leading the old dear out of her house for the Everton street party were 2 that got everyone talking.

I'm proud of our club, Bill is proud of our club and after listening to The Everton Podcast with Martinez the other week I have a new found respect for Mr Kenwright. There has to be something about him that successive managers keep praising!

Shout it from the rooftops, we are Everton FC and we are cut from a different cloth than the majority of Premier League teams these days.

Id like to take this opportunity to thank the Everton fans from the bottom of my heart for their support during my time at Goodison. They gave me their backing from day one and never stopped believing in me, which is something I will always remember. To score on my full debut in that memorable game against Tottenham was very special, and the feeling of Goodison that night will remain with me. I believe the scoring run which I went on during those first six months is the real Nikica Jelavic and Im pleased the Evertonians were able to see and appreciate what Im really about.
Everton supporters have a special way of making you feel like one of them, and even when I was not in the team in more recent times I always felt they were behind me. Playing for Croatia is something I also take huge pride in and with a World Cup on the horizon I was in the situation of needing to play more games to make sure I remain in Niko Kovacs thoughts ahead of the tournament in Brazil. Unfortunately that wasnt happening at Everton, and Roberto Martinez was very honest and up front with me about his thinking. He listened to my concerns and said he would try and do the right thing for me. When I went to meet Steve Bruce I realised it was the right move to a club with the potential to become a top Premier League outfit in the coming years. Steve's ambition was clear, as was his desire to see me playing and scoring goals. While Im sad to wave farewell to Everton and all my friends; both in the changing room, around the training ground, and the fans in the streets, it is time for my next challenge.
Im only pleased that I was able to say goodbye with two goals in the FA Cup win against QPR, and share some special celebrations with them one last time. I hope to be celebrating many more goals in future, and Im excited to get going at my new club. But you can guarantee the Toffees will remain in my heart. I hope they can go on to fulfil their ambitions this season and I will always look out for them.

Hvala vam i sretno (Thank you and good luck)

I have a lot of respect for what Moyes did at Everton there is no doubting he piled the ground and laid a solid foundation slab at a club that has struggled for years. I questioned his tactics often, he played many players out of position and pushed aside many a player in favor of his favorites and that, lets get the sub undressed 7 times before finally bringing them on in injury time thing he did drove me crazy. Credit where credits due tho he steadied the ship, gave me a European tour and put in a shift for my beloved club.

It's a pity he turned the second he walked out the door and now tbh he will get what he deserves, if he turns it around at utd good on him and if he gets the sack I'll laugh my lil man boobs off. He is the past and Bobby's brown shoes are the future!

    Onwards and upwards later Moyesy!!

*I've had a quick look but if there's another thread just shift this over*

I've been really impressed this week with Everton's charitable events, we've done the annual visit to Alder Hey Children's hospital. There's been this Everton Street party thing going on around Liverpool and a friend of mine who is a school teacher and a home & away Liverpool fan, works at Halewood Academy told me we had an Everton party for a kid who had brain surgery recently where Sylavin Distin came and presented a signed shirt to the lad.

Do we lead the way in terms of football clubs with these activities or is there any others who have raised the bar for the people in their communities?
