The lack of transfers sucks at face value but when you think about it it's not that bad. Clearly the plan was to get Walsh on board. Not going to make transfers before then so throw out mid-May to July 21. I'm sure everyone wishes it didn't drag until July 21 to get Walsh in but it did so let's move on. Realistically that has left us without making a transfer for 6 days. Our transfer window started July 21, period. Koeman and Walsh spending some time getting on the same page. The new regime has been absolutely brilliant so far. Absolutely brilliant. If it takes until deadline day so be it. Similar though slightly different to my feelings. Assuming Tottenham win tonight i want Leicester to win Saturday. First time i will root against the club. This season's team effort and belief in one another has been terrible. I want the players and manager to see what that looks like. I want them to hear the fans in full voice for 90 mins. I want them to feel the ground shake when Leicester score. Most of all I want the Everton players to be their first hand when the pitch is invaded. Perhaps im too optimistic but I want this experience to be the catalyst for next year. I want them to sit down in the locker room after the game and agree to fight for one another to make moments like that possible. I want them to be inspired by what they see Saturday. Not for this season, for next.

Need to go: Howard, Kone, McGeady, Mirallas, Lukaku, Pienaar I'd keep Gibbo but i imagine he wants out. Sell him if he feels strongly about first team opps. Keep: Hibbert and Osman - won't cost much in wages, can start coaching licenses if they wish

Kudos to those of you who have been calling for RM to be gone the past few months. Baines' comments are enlightening and the straw that broke the camels back for me. I am a firm believer chemistry is more important than tactics. Talent, chemistry, tactics.
