Said before, he has taken the biggest risk of all our previous managers and we’ve given him the least. I respect him, I really do. The sheer irony that this man could be the manager we’ve needed after the previous pretenders is about as Everton as it gets.

He didn’t set the championship alight either. As you said, he’s just 19. Our 28 year old, england capped centre back should be standing up and taking on the mantle. Not the kid.

He’s a nightmare for it. I’d be getting rid of both him and Keane for someone who can string together consistent games with consistent form. I miss Jags at his peak so much.

I think Branthwaite showed his level against Huddersfield to be honest. Micheal Keane just needs to stand up as our senior CB here

Yeah right. I more meant when he was under contract we could have, even if it was a youth/academy one? Once his contract was expired I understand we have nothing but agreed fee or tribunal.

I think we could have negotiated something like that pre tribunal but now I believe it will be a flat fee.

Bissouma is quality, big fan of his. Maupay isn’t an exciting name but he does a job and can finish - would be a good option.

Watford didn’t really threaten them a whole lot. They play a 3 at the back with very, very slow centre back so I would hope richarlison, Dom and Gray could find a lot of room to run into.

Still don’t think we should be selling him. If he does go I have we are looking at a pacey, on the shoulder of the last man type striker.

I mean if he had to play winger I think he will be okay. Right now he is probably best suited in a 3 at the back ( which would affect Gray playing out wide ). Hopefully he can iron out his defensive game and keep improving

Only if we float them into the box. Gray and Richarlison have been whipping some dangerous low crosses that the big boys at the back for Brighton might struggle with.

Perhaps. Another day it goes 2-0 and potentially wrapped up before half time but for a marginal offside decision so it’s hard to say mate.

Fair play to Zouma though at his age, this is potentially his big money contract.
