Can’t begrudge him going for international duty but hopefully Brazil are sensible about this. Perhaps if he misses one game for them and one game for us. Regardless I would prefer to see him stay put this international break.

I follow both the guys on Instagram so I’ve seen them and how they dress and this is nothing out of the norm for them. Could very well be a shoot for D&G but it’s definitely in line with his taste. Tom is a proper crack up! Also I’ll add @MikeO I wasn’t attacking you, I just said it’s a bit harsh.

Problem is since we’ve signed Keane there’s been excuses or reasons to paper over the fact that he just isn’t good enough consistently. When he does muster up a run of form for 10 or so games he looks like someone who could play for a side pushing Europe but he lets himself down far too often.

I think that’s a bit harsh Mike. Both him and Davies have a very alternative style, just also happens that they can afford to shop where most can’t but that’s at no fault of their own. I wouldn’t dress like that but each to their own and the world would be a very boring place if we all were the same!

Given our clubs morales are generally spot on - I highly doubt they would suggest 5 players are isolating from covid if it weren’t true…

United will carve up a few teams this year but Leeds were very poor in defence. I think having a lot of pace in the team is the best way and I’m struggling on how to get James into the starting XI. Would like Godfrey in the backline if he is available however.

I’d have no issue with him wearing the armband. Puts everything into every game and I really think we are going to see the best of him this year and hopefully plenty of goals from midfield.

Honestly I hope for his sake and ours he has a solid game next up. Personally though I have little to no faith in him - that kind of mistake is embarrassing in Sunday league and I thought his head went completely after it. I think he is fragile and if Rafa drops him for Leeds it would do more damage to his confidence.

Well I enjoyed watching that second half more than I’ve enjoyed watching Everton for a while. I think this idea of defensive Rafa has been blown out of the water a bit. We seem to have an idea of how we are going to attack and hurt teams, which are set up to our strengths. I really hope this is the trend for the season. There will be bumps along the way, it’s inevitable but I just hope we all stick together through the bumps and enjoy the highs.

Thought he put some really dangerous balls in. Will take a few games for the connection between the guys up too but it’s refreshing to see someone receive the ball out wide and back themselves. Haven’t had that since Gerry.

I would agree if it were most other players but he is so industrial that I believe he has a bit extra than most others. We don’t have Europe and we can maybe rest him in some early cup games but I think he will be okay. He looked sharp though, this is the Richarlison we need if we want to be contending for European spots. Pivotal for us.

I hope so mate. I have really liked the intent in pre season to get to the by line and cut the ball back which is exactly Grays game. I feel James isnt going to be playing and I’m perplexed by that. Also add in DCL hasn’t played a game in pre season, Richarlison could be rested & Kean doesn’t seem to be training with the first team we are so thin on attacking players.

I never said the player negotiates. My whole point that you just missed then was if I was a player and my deal to go to a better club because my agent was holding the deal up for an extra 66% of the transfer fund as his fee I would sack him. I gather that agents are crucial but there really should be a regulation as to what their fees can be otherwise it will become even more of a piss take than it is now due to some agents.
