    We would not be in nearly the mess we are in if it weren’t for Walsh and Fat Sam. Tosun and Walcott are 50 million pounds of shit. We took huge losses on Schniderlan ( can’t even spell him name ), Gylfi ffs 45 million. Bolasie I can forgive due to injury. Brands has missed a few but nothing like those before him.

    Probably best for both parties. Gbamin fitness will play a big part in if it’s a good thing to move Gomes on. The money from him and Bernard would surely cover Dumfries and then hopefully we have enough room with FFP to get a Leon Bailey type in.

    Iwobi has everything to be a quality player he just hasn’t clicked. Brand’s negotiating skills have been highlighted in plenty of transfers before iwobi. Lets just hope we get this one over the line.

    When he came in I think most of us saw a pretty special player and thought we wouldn’t keep him for long. Shame it hasn’t quite clicked here though. Honest player though and always wish him well!

    Haha I think it will be between Nz and Aus. Both my parents are from NZ ( I was born in Aus as where my cousins ) We were watching it live and I caught my dad getting cheering on Nz in the gold medal match of the commonwealth games against Australia

    Yeah I understand what you are saying however my cousin is over there for the Australian women’s hockey team and I couldn’t be happier for her. I just hope it’s a safe environment but I would have been devastated for her not to get an opportunity to represent her country.

    Pinch of salt here mate - Brands has shown he is a top top negotiator and I’m sure he won’t be letting Mino take us for a ride here.

    At least we haven’t forked out 20+ million for this squad player which is all walcott should have been. I would also think he is on about half the wages of bernard. He really only has to work hard and chip in with a few goals and assist’s and he’s done his part

    I’d have no issue with it as long as we have adequate cover. I think Virginia has got potential to be a good keeper. Portugal would be a great shout for him

    I think if we are signing him either Mina or Keane must go. Mina is the better defender for me but his fitness is inconsistent where Keane is reliable but performance is inconsistent.

    Smart this. I still wouldn’t be surprised if Virginia got game time in the cups as well. Loads of experience, calm and consistent keeper. Will only benefit our younger keepers.

    Him and Doucoure will only get better together. Hopefully JPG can stay fit and give us a real dynamic midfield 3.

    Hopefully it’s a sign of things to come! As said above, I really want him to succeed as he has been through a horrid time. Looks like he can really add something to the team as well.
