    Every player has their price. I’d just like to see at least 1 season with him at LW and another pacey, goal minded RW (left footed).

    Really it’s just James and Gylfi they can strike a ball. Digne use to have a few from distance but hasn’t of late. To his credit though, Townsend seems to have that left curler in his locker, we just need that marauding RB to create space for him.

    He will need to adjust to the tempo but I think he will relish the physicality of it.

    I only saw snippets of the game but he looked to really drive us forward and spread the ball. Played forward often as well. Good signs from him.

    Same. He’s looked good in the clips. Almost like the time off injured they haven’t been able to coach the forward passes out of him!

    I would be very concerned if we payed over the odds for a player based on performances at the olympics.

    I haven’t seen anything but I’m not fussed if he stays or goes to be honest. Time is definitely running out for him though.

    He is probably the biggest winner from Carlo moving on. Needs to acknowledge he’s gotten a second chance, get his head down and make it happen.

    We would not be in nearly the mess we are in if it weren’t for Walsh and Fat Sam. Tosun and Walcott are 50 million pounds of shit. We took huge losses on Schniderlan ( can’t even spell him name ), Gylfi ffs 45 million. Bolasie I can forgive due to injury. Brands has missed a few but nothing like those before him.

    Probably best for both parties. Gbamin fitness will play a big part in if it’s a good thing to move Gomes on. The money from him and Bernard would surely cover Dumfries and then hopefully we have enough room with FFP to get a Leon Bailey type in.

    Iwobi has everything to be a quality player he just hasn’t clicked. Brand’s negotiating skills have been highlighted in plenty of transfers before iwobi. Lets just hope we get this one over the line.

    When he came in I think most of us saw a pretty special player and thought we wouldn’t keep him for long. Shame it hasn’t quite clicked here though. Honest player though and always wish him well!

    Haha I think it will be between Nz and Aus. Both my parents are from NZ ( I was born in Aus as where my cousins ) We were watching it live and I caught my dad getting cheering on Nz in the gold medal match of the commonwealth games against Australia

    Yeah I understand what you are saying however my cousin is over there for the Australian women’s hockey team and I couldn’t be happier for her. I just hope it’s a safe environment but I would have been devastated for her not to get an opportunity to represent her country.

    Pinch of salt here mate - Brands has shown he is a top top negotiator and I’m sure he won’t be letting Mino take us for a ride here.
