1st goal is great movement though, spins off his man gets in behind with his pace, the flick over the top is great and a good strike. Don’t get me wrong, I still expect us get another striker in - someone with a different skill set to DCL but I would hope they are at least looking at him.

I think he’s done enough to warrant being looked at over pre season - if Carlo thinks he needs another loan great but if he feels there’s a role for him, why not?

I think it shows what we can do under Carlo though - it shows he knows how to win the big games. I really feel the players have let us down against the “smaller” teams. Typical Everton that - massive mentality shift is required.

Bingo. We have literally no players on the right hand side who offer any consistency let alone real ability. We need to get that sorted before we think about selling our left back with 9 assists this year

Only Cresswell as a defender has more assists and he’s played an extra 400 minutes ( 20% more ) than Digne but yeah let’s fuck him off.

He needs 3 years. He can’t come in here and rip all these players out. Regardless of what we think of them on the pitch, off the pitch they have bonded and it would run the risk of losing the players we want to keep. Not once have we been the relegation zone. That’s a huge improvement for me. The football hasn’t been great but Silva & Koeman tried to play their football with a team not capable. Injuries have impacted this - it’s an excuse but it is viable, especially with our limited squad. I do believe the opening games is foundation he wants just a tighter defence. He needs time, if we discard him the next manager could very easily have us in a lot of trouble.

Okay Digne for starters is a victim of his own high standards. Also, richarlison has no interest in linking with him so it’s a wonder he has still gotten 9 assists for the season.

We will really see the attitude of the team the next 2 games. Sheffield with absolutely nothing to play for put absolutely everything they had out there on the pitch, gave it everything. Watch us now over the next 2 games in the same position.

What annoys me right now and I’m not sure if I’m petty or wrong for it is the first few games as we were winning. The goal celebrations were huge but it was like after 5/6 games these players forgot that they were absolute shit for 2/3 years beforehand. We’ve had years of players coming out and saying we need to do this or that - all talk. Players are coming here to collect a wage and it’s piss poor.

I can’t see anyone bidding for him. He would have to have a massive season next year 25+ goals/assists and if so we would all be screaming to keep him. Technically very average but could/should have doubled his goal scoring tally this year

Ah well I think we all knew deep down this was going to happen. Rinse and repeat - we need a good window in the summer and some of our players really need to look at themselves. We’re fast becoming that of a team that pays out champions league wages for players who don’t turn up every week.
