Apparently then changed their reason to "accidental contact". I would feel a bit hard done by if that went against us (I have no doubt it would have though), however some of the pens & calls we have had against us this year have been far more dubious than that. How VAR at the very least, can't say to the ref " His arm is outstretched and the ball makes contact, you may want to check that on the monitor" is absolutely beyond me.

Who are the big 6 though these days? Aston Villa? West Ham? Brighton? Newcastle? (Granted their take over has helped them) Aston Villa were below us when Emery took over, there is no physical barrier stopping us from having that success on the pitch. The stuff with FFP will sort itself out but we need to be in a position to move forward when it does.

Echo this - unless this sale is what saves us from further sanctions (ludicrous that we are even talking about being punished twice in one season). If not we need to seriously start to build a team around these players otherwise we sell Onana & then following season we probably sell Branthwaite & continue to make no progress.

If they review it and lower the suspension it will only further increase the question marks around VAR. More likely they will stand firm on the 3 games for that reason alone.
