  1. Not sure who she is, though. As for capacity, 5k doesn't really produce that much more revenue when you factor in increased costs. And that's assuming every match is sold out.
  2. I think the Lozano boat has sailed and doubt Forsberg is coming either. These guys get offers from CL-clubs.
  3. Lookman and Bolasie? Of which the latter is for sale if someone wants him.
  4. He had injury problems last season, maybe he wasn't fully fit? I also didn't think the tactics helped him, Swedes were playing so deep and there wasn't usually a lot of support that what was he supposed to do?
  5. So you could fit a 100,000 seater on that site but it's not big enough?
  6. So by replacing Goodison Park with a new, bigger stadium in a better place instead of copying Spurs we turn into Tranmere? That's the level of logic Burns is capable of.
  7. Notice how John once again has absolutely no sources. He hasn't heard of anything, so it has stalled. There's no more behind this than his imagination.
  8. It's John Burns you are talking to. Just a friendly reminder.
  9. Took a few games to settle to the Premier League but apparently played well in his last games.
  10. There are differences. starting from their positions.
  11. That's a random shout if I ever saw one.

  13. What has he exactly done? I've no idea. People are drooling over a player from a seriously shite league and then think someone from Ligue 1 is a risk because it's a shite league (still 100x better than SPL).
  14. Where's the "SPL is a shite league" shouts?
  15. http://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2018/everton-leicester-have-reportedly-made-offers-for-montpellier-left-back-jerome-roussillon/ Paris United is a pretty accurate source at least for PSG news. 25-year old left-back from Montpellier. Wants Europe as priority, though, so could be difficult to get.
  16. No point loaning him. He's played enough in the PL to get anything out of a loan move.
  17. Yeah, unless Finn Balor thought he plays RB I can't figure out how he can say that. Kimmich was very high up the pitch most of the time and that's exactly what Mexico targetted.
  18. Plattenhardt is apparently steady and reliable but nothing special beyond that. Good engine, good set pieces but pretty average both defending and attacking.
  19. Seriously, 5 or 6 out in the next 2 windows and max 4 in? That wouldn't drop the squad numbers practically at all. If we count Robles already gone and Rooney probably leaving then which three or four players would let go and which would you leave? Which of these would you keep: Martina, Williams, Schneiderlin, Mirallas, Bolasie, Funes Mori, McCarthy, Garbutt, Browning, Pennington, Niasse, Besic, Klaassen, Jagielka, Baines, Keane? You have to pick 14 (that's four more to be let go in addition to Robles and Rooney). Bear in mind several of those players make around 100kpw, or about 5 million per year. Keeping four of them just in case costs the club 20 million for next season.
  20. If we did finish fifth next season there would be a whole summer to get more bodies in. In any case there are several players who won't be here a year from now. I also find it a bit silly to keep players just in case we finish fifth. Which players would you keep just in case? Schneiderlin? Williams? Funes Mori? Bolasie? Martina? Mirallas? There's going to be a totally new way of playing so keeping players not fit for that style would basically be a waste of (lots of) money. Schneiderlin alone costs about 6 million per year on wages. The club could save tens of millions in wages next season by ridding of the unneeded players. That money goes a long way towards signing useful players next summer.
  21. Yes, he started two games, was subbed in both. Bournemouth and last game against Newcastle.
