DCL is the most overrated player I have seen in an Everton shirt.

Observations:

gylfi when he tries has the skill.

Why haven’t we bought a standin left back.

i want Davies to be brilliant but can’t see what type of player he is and can’t see his best position.

DCL is at best not a prem player. I haven’t seen what he gives he is a waste of a position in the team. 

Like moneyball stat based management you cannot create a blend in a team based on that. Every transfer is a gamble and to be honest all this about recruitment being shite I disagree. The choice not to buy a left back and striker in the summer is a glaring issue but I think they see something in Cuco that we don’t see. Not saying that’s correct but it could explain it. When you go through the players we bought at the time we bought them who or what would we have done differently. 

Keane was considered a great prospect came from Man U youth system and had some good seasons at Burnley. Only in hindsight can that be seen as a bad decision.

I don’t think we can use the transition to the prem as an excuse as several came from other prem sides and have under performed. Except for Cuco who was never meant to be first choice, I would say all our signings have been hailed as just what we need on the day we sign them.

I think the problem was too much too soon. After letting lukaku go and knowing Ross wasn’t going to sign we should have focussed on 4 key positions keeper which we got right centre back as we had two over 30 Keane hasn’t worked out. Replacement for Ross siggy is just that. Finally a new striker all of the money should have been spent on those 4 positions and not bought in the 5/6 others we got in.

I always struggle to see what def mids do like Keane I am told he was immense but I couldn’t see it. I assumed the same with Morgan but seems he is just shite

Not watching but if this goes on will they sack alladyce

Watched every game this year and here’s my take...

Pickford - our keeper for the next 10 years if he doesn’t leave for CL side first.

Jags - shit and two years past it. More times than not is hammering the ball back to the opposing team.

Kenny - young and getting ripped apart due to his positioning. Does not get forward near enough. Seamus can’t get back fast enough but who knows what he’ll be like on return.

Martina - makes me think I could jump on a plane and start at Everton tomorrow. The worst player to play for EFC in 10 years. Baines must be really hurting.

McCarthy - can tackle but then has no idea what to do with the ball. He can go too...

Ghana - decent, hard working ball winner.

Holgate - bright spot but still young.

#2 - I refuse to speak his name... £27million for this??!! Must have had pictures of Koeman in compromising positions. Competing with Martina for worst player ever...

Rooney - wise but old legs and slow.

Siggy - cannot blame a guy for the price tag someone else puts on him. He MUST PLAY IN THE MIDDLE AHEAD OF ROONEY - there I said it. Couldn’t tackle a paper bag full of feathers. It’s not what he was bought for but then again EFC insist on playing him as a winger which he’s not either.

Klassen - I don’t actually believe he exists. 

Bolasse - another bright spot but coming back from brutal injury.

Tosun - gets a pass today.

Calvert-Lewin - a racehorse but young. Has not show the class I’d like to see around the box for a striker.

Lookman - doesn’t play enough. I’d loan him out if we’re not going to use him.

Lennon - doesn’t get the ball enough in good positions. He’s not good enough to produce chances himself. He is average at best.

All in all our team is shit and 40pts can’t come fast enough. 2 shots on target over the last 3 games is dumbfounding...

I think we are lucky to be where we are, a number of games under sam where we could have lost easily. not many we could have won. I agree the squad look average but the recruitment has been shite schiderlin bolassie gylfi keane  all over £25 million joke. Walcott will be another squad player.

I slated martinez and called for his head but I regret that now. Koeman cost us lukaku and barkley, With them in the squad you bring in quality to play alongside he did something that got rid of both.

Hold on to koeman far too long, then let him go when it was probably better to keep him if you have no one to bring in. Bring in unsworth who respectfully was way out his depth and let him go far too long then fuck up negotiations with the mediocre rabble that steal a living from football and we end up with the top boy who starts every press conference with why we  won't win. Starts every game with not planning to win. His press conference will be all about the great Spurs side. 4 losses in a row, no win in 6. I hope he takes us down.

DCL - The worst player I have seen at Everton in a long time, Can't finish loses the ball embarrassed we are so poor he gets a go in the team.

Morgan Shitlin - not worth 2.5 million never mind 25 million offers nothing defensively or going forward.

Gylfi - Small glimpses but no consistency

Gueye - POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORRRRRR!!! can't pass can't tackle gives the ball away more than most strikers.

What’s people’s view on two clean sheets and the defencd that achieved them. I think overnight I can see more care in Ashley Williams and jokester has done well. Kenny has been immense both games and we don’t need cover for Seamus now.

Martina maybe unfairly I will always see as a squad player. But I hope we can give them a game in the derby now.

I’ll be honest I don’t think he is good enough. He is a reasonable squad player but I don’t see him coming on to change games and pop up with a winner. Maybe more a workhorse alongside a goal scorer

I don't really get it with DCL. Works hard has pace but goal return at prem level is poor. I know he is young but so was lukaku Owen Rooney fowler etc. I think the he's young give him time shouldn't always allow him game time. Sandro scored enough goals last season to be given time to gel and work a system he can play in. Biases comes in and scores enough to keep his place. I think Sandro hasn't been given enough time he isn't suddenly shite. Also his true value was more 15million if we spent that money would he get more time. 

Its interesting how gylfi got time with bad performances but Sandro didn't. 

A striker needs a good run to get up to speed

It doesn't matter who plays we need a fucking result I don't see a goal from anywhere

Because he is a number 10 who tries to play left back def mid striker. If he stuck to his position then we may hold a structure but when he drops to deep no one knows what they are doing. That said the whole team are shite

Rooney shouldn't be anywhere near notbecause he doesn't score or doesn't create but because he stops others doing their jobs and confuses the whole team. 

I don't know what the team should be but we need solid 3 centre mids who's primary function is to get the ball back and focus on not losing it. 

A 0-0 would do me a clean sheet is a must I think unsworth has proved already he isn't up to it.

I think with such low confidence around the side and the need for a win alladyce is a far better choice than anyone fancy like Tunchel.

For me the correct approach is get the defence right even if that means playing 5 and play some long ball to keep it simple and get the results. Unsworths I have a way of playing and I will stick to my principles shows a complete lack of flexibility. Right now we need dirty wins and uncompromising defence. I don't give a fuck about the Everton way for the next 6 months. Or what the fans expect. That's why unsworth won't get the job as he hasn't had that pressure to get results anyway possible. Watford manager or alladyce would be my choices as they have done it at that level.

I know we bought him for peanuts so I don't mind him not being a prolific striker at prem level but he is the one getting all the chances. I would have thought Sandro deserved an equal run in the team. How do we expect any player to get used to the prem if they don't get game time regularly in their chosen position.
