  1. That’s quite an impressive list of names for an Everton supporter, if you didn’t support Everton you probably wouldn’t have heard of half of them. By the way Steve what is or was your job, I’m guessing boot or dressing room cleaner
  2. I’m not going to bash anyone with how Rondon played, for me he did what I expected him to do and I wasn’t at all surprised by the impact he had on the game when he came on.
  3. Exactly what I’m getting at, all the talk seems to be about a Burnley Everton fight off to avoid the drop, but Leeds are far from safe with a shite goal difference.
  4. Didn’t know that could be happening
  5. I haven’t taken much notice of Dr Who for a few years now, more because of the cheap budget, it’s become a poor comedy in my eyes. It’s like the BBC are just relying on it’s Iconic status to keep it current instead of good writing and a healthy budget for special effects and good filming, now I realise for a lot of Dr Who fans that is part of the charm of it, but not for me.
  6. Not a nice thing to have to hear from you mate, but I feel from your post a sense of acceptance and positivity about your situation, which I find powerful John and hopefully that attitude will take you well into your nineties mate. I’d like to think I can say on behalf of everyone that we are all routing for you and wish you well for the future John.
  7. If we get a tonking from the shite by 3 or 4 our goal difference will be 5 or 6 behind Burnley which will be hard to claw back, we need to keep the shite as quite as possible the 3rd relegation spot could easily be decided on goal difference and could even be Leeds who’s GD is far worse than ours. So many permutations still in this fight to avoid 18th place.
  8. I agree he didn’t have any influence on the game and was very much a passenger, he had one moment in the game which led to the goal and in this game it was more than enough we were desperate for that point, and that was good enough for me.
  9. Because more and more conservative MPs are starting to call for his resignation, they now know it has to be him or the party that will lose out in the future, and if it’s the party then that means them and many are not prepared to pay that price by protecting him when they know so many people suffered whilst he partied, and we are very much aware of it. This goes way further than lying to achieve Brexit or party policies, what he has done and the lies he has made to try and conceal the truth are beyond words, millions of people lost mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, sons, daughters, uncles, aunties, cousins, nephews, and nieces that died in hospitals, hospices, and care homes without any family to comfort them and say there good bye’s because they were obeying the lockdown rules he helped to introduce, and there will be many who will never forget or forgive him no matter how many years go by, that he partied whilst there loved ones died a lonely death. He’s hoping in time this will go away be forgotten, it won’t this will torment split and divide the Tory party until he is removed or resigns, the noose is getting tighter and will do so for more weeks to come, then he will be hung out to dry by his own back benchers.
  10. You know what there the games where it could all so easily go wrong, we are banking on a minimum of 7 points from them 3 games to have any real chance of survival this season, and your right we have this knack of blowing up in the games against the lesser team’s as the Burnley game showed.
  11. There’s nothing wrong with being negative in this game to try and go toe to toe would be suicidal, we need to find away of frustrating them by packing the MF and defending deep and cutting the space for them to move into behind the back line, it can be achieved but it needs players with a dogged resolve and stamina.
  12. My hopes are we can get at least a point from the Chelsea game, but I can see us turning them over, I think the intensity from the manager and the desire to beat his old team with the support of the fans will spur the players on to a win.
  13. Mykolenko is going to be tested like he’s never been tested before, he is going to have to Trent and Salah to contend with on his side, and if Delph is playing he will be no help to him what so ever in getting a cross to back him up, or Gray tracking back with Trent, for me we need Gordon or Richarlison on the left with Doucoure holding with Allan, and then just pray that it’s not a massacre and we can hold out for a point by frustrating the life out of them.
  14. The worrying thing is they are playing some decent football, and with their run In compared to ours that scares me
  15. 2-0 ffs sacking Dyche could turn out to be best decision they made.
  16. Forster keeping them in at the moment with help from Burnley’s poor finishing.
  17. Burnley all over Saints last 10 minutes sad to say.
  18. I’ve learned the hard way in this, all ways go with your first instinct.
  19. Milesey wear your Everton shirt mate, honestly your be fine
  20. I went with Iwobi, I did consider Rondon because I genuinely believe without his introduction we don’t get the equaliser, but he wasn’t an option anyway.
  21. It’s another point towards safety, and in this worse season I can remember football wise in 55 years of supporting this beautiful club, it’s something to be thankful for. We have now made the gap between us and Burnley bigger, and the gap closer to Leeds, I class that as a good day.
  22. And I’ve been arguing the same with you, but we get told he’s shit, now I’m not saying he’s brilliant but he’s better than what we have in that position at this moment in time.
