From your comments on the Belgium game I can only assume you never saw any of it, Coleman was completely done for their first goal and had a deflection for an own goal for their second, Belgium completely dominated the game from beginning till the end with pretty much a reserve team. I think it’s fair to say most on here recognise his contribution to the team in the past, but this season he hasn’t been anywhere near good enough and deserves the criticism that’s come his way.

For the sport it’s a shame really if it turns into another 2 team season, this season was meant to have changed that scenario with the new set ups introduced in bringing car performance closer, I’d love to see a season where we have 3-4 teams going for it, but as you said looks very much like 2 teams are already way in front of the others and won’t be caught.

The biggest problem is constantly changing managers, a manager comes in buys a couple of decent players for how he wants to try and implement his tactics going forward, that’s just the start of a plan, in reality he needs 5,6 or 7 new first team faces, but what happens is the board and the fans want success in 6 months to a year, don’t give them the time required and he’s axed. Then the next man comes in doesn’t like the players he’s inherited because they’re not a good fit for his plan, buys a couple of players then gets the bullet early on in his contract, and so it repeats, and before you know it you have a expensive group of players but you don’t have a team.

I’m not even going to try and contemplate what losing to Burnley would mean to our survival at this moment in time, a win would be boss a draw would be more than acceptable.

Thing is it’s Lampard now trying to work miracles like a couple of managers before him, and I can’t see next season being any better, he will have no money and there won’t be a queue lining up to pay top dollar for what we have, and unfortunately he has no real understanding of what to do with a bunch of players like ours his short time in management hasn’t prepared him for a situation like ours, the timing of his appointment was all wrong. Which brings us to the biggest problem at the club Moshiri and the board, Moshiri is the reincarnation of the devil and we’ve sold our souls to him for what a new stadium, shame he couldn’t give us team good enough to play in it.

Good performance’s aren’t going to come with this manager and this group of players, so don’t delude yourself that they will 4-0 away to Palace will hopefully help you see that, if we stay up it will be because of the home fans forcing the players to give everything, and not because of Lampard or performance’s of ability.
