  1. His remit may not be as involved with first team matters as much as Walsh and Brand’s seemed to be, but there are lots of other area’s where he can get involved and improve things, in his interview he didn’t really dwell on the first team as much as he did on other aspects of the club. Also some weeks ago when Lampard was asked the question about the club seeking a DoF he came across very unenthused on the idea, what we have to consider is that some managers see DoF as a challenge to their authority when it comes to decisions they believe are for them to make and no one else, and Lampard comes across as very much being his own man which I like, it will be interesting to see how it all develops. But if we look at past history they could both be sacked by the end of next season
  2. I think the problem with us is that we don’t have the people at the top who are intelligent enough to make the right decision’s when it comes to team matters, but law of averages would suggest that they will get it right sooner or later Thelwell maybe the one but there’s just as much chance he won’t be.
  3. Definitely I can see us beating United and getting something from the Chelsea game, we turn up at home and against the big boys we seem to find that bit extra.
  4. I wish he would declare war on the rest of Europe or all of NATO countries, so we can finish him off once and for all.
  5. It does look a tall order granted but they have 30 points left to play for, so not a forgone conclusion just yet but agreed very difficult.
  6. Good to see Rooney stop the rot a massive win for Derby in the relegation stakes.
  7. Burnley’s mini run has definitely come crashing to an end.
  8. Up 2-0 now and Burnley are losing 2-0 now they won’t come back from that.
  9. Chelsea have put out a very weaker team than normal against Burnley which I find very concerning.
  10. Probably the best Leeds have looked for a while, but your right we needed them to lose.
  11. He’s not fast granted but he worked hard he held the ball up well, his movement in and around the the box was good, his 5 attempts at goal with 4 on target and 2 converted would pretty much show that to be the case. Your point about the keeper is a bit unfair he maybe a non league keeper but that doesn’t make him shit, we actually had 10 attempts on target and he saved 8 of them not to shabby, he would have been unhappy with the first at his near post as all keeper’s would be, but that shouldn’t deflect from the cross into a dangerous area and the good movement from Rondon to get on the end of it and turn it in. The second goal not many would keep out, again good movement from Rondon delayed is run into the box and got good contact on it.
  12. We all have our right to our opinions and we can all have our opinions questioned, I question your opinion of saying Rondon was shit on Thursday, I question it because I can’t believe anyone who watched the game could accuse him of being shit in that game, maybe you could quantify why you thought he was shit.
  13. What I said wasn’t personal, but as usual you threw your dummy out the pram when people don’t agree with you, and on Rondon performance on Thursday a fair few didn’t, but I’m prepared to say your wrong on this occasion and you don’t like it.
  14. Well I’m definitely aware about what your motive’s are in this, but if you want to make it personal carry on.
  15. Exactly no one knows, put the press just like to write stories of doom and gloom, the club will carry on and the stadium will still be built with or without Moshiri, if Moshiri decided to put the club on the market tomorrow he would get offers, the stadium alone makes us very saleable, I see no issues for Everton but I can’t say that for Moshiri I think his wealth is to reliant on Usmanov and that will come back to bite him in the arse.
  16. It’s says you dislike him that much that you can’t even recognise when he’s done well.
  17. What does that say about the rest of those who played if we was given motm by most of the media and TT members, you don’t just paint a poor picture about him you also paint a poor picture about the others. He may not be a player who will become a regular for us for obvious reasons, but in this particular game he was and he did what was asked of him and got the 2 goals that got us into the next round.
  18. Yes I did but not once did I say I was referring to any deals we had with Usmanov’s companies, so if you read what I said in context to the article posted by Rom it’s pretty obvious I was talking about Cazoo deal being terminated.
  19. Regardless of the competition you are playing your technical ability doesn’t change whether it’s good enough is a different matter, I was quite impressed with his first touch his passing in the way he always looked to keep the ball moving on the ground, he plays with his head up and didn’t panic when defending with long balls up to no one, he always managed to find a pass so we kept possession of the ball. I think Lampard will be happy that he’s got someone who can play and look after the ball.
