  1. I’m sure Steve could fudge the table so we become seventh instead of seventeenth
  2. When you go to a game home or away you can’t be more than impressed by the support given to this team, the support from the fans is unquestionable, the effort from some players is very questionable. There has to be a time when you stop making excuses for a majority of these players, we are in a battle for survival and the conscientious objector stance of excuse after excuse isn’t going to win the war. One player showed that spirit and desire yesterday Iwobi, he showed a willingness to give his all and fight for the team and his place in it, DCL showed no desire at all and the excuses are becoming very lame, personally I wouldn’t play him because I know what he’s doing wouldn’t be missed.
  3. Just seen the post Patterson out with bad ankle injury, everything that can go wrong is going wrong, the gods are definitely conspiring against us this season, if we stay up it will be miraculous achievement.
  4. Kenny proved again today that he is not the replacement for Coleman who we missed today for his battling and work rate qualities. I wish Lampard would invest more in Patterson than Kenny when Coleman isn’t available.
  5. I’m going with Iwobi his first half was exemplary, and a couple of mistakes second half, but still the better player out there.
  6. I know mate, still it’s concerning that the manager still doesn’t think he’s ready after 2 months to be trusted in a team that is clearly struggling, he’s not even getting the opportunity now to come off the bench and try to change the game, I personally find that curiously concerning.
  7. That’s nice for him, just a shame he’s unable to do what he was brought here for and contribute to the team, but he’s having fun so happy days not all bad
  8. Had to record it family event took president, just finished watching, possibly the best I’ve seen us play away from home for a while, unlucky not to get more out of the game. Some poor finishing from Richarlison and DCL and sloppy control from Iwobi which led to their second contributed to our down fall, Iwobi loses the ball in their half and that catches our defence all over the place, Keane is in the middle Kenny is right of him 5-6 yards in front of him completely out the game when the ball goes to Antonio, Kenny should be looking at Keane and keeping a line, if he does that there’s a chance he can hold Antonio up, Mykolenko is left of Keane but a yard behind him again not maintaining the line, which allows Antonio to remain on side when he received the ball. I have a massive problem with defenders who lose focus and shape when the midfielders have the ball and they aren’t set and ready when it breaks down, concentration needs switched on for the whole of the game.
  9. I would say a very good weekend both Watford and Burnley lost, and we could make it an excellent one by getting something against West Ham.
  10. 2 poor teams playing in a poor game of football, nothing for anyone to write home about bar one piece of magic which led to the goal and 3 points, I’ll take that every day of the week till the end of the season.
  11. That’s the problem to many players have the wrong attitude, they think they are to good to go down, whilst we worry they are not good enough to keep us up.
  12. Antonio will prove to be to strong for our CBs, he will run and bully them into the ground making space and opportunities for others. Tactically as a manager Lampard isn’t in Moyes league, Moyes can pick a team and tactic’s to combat the opposition threat and impose his style, I can’t see us getting anything from this game we will be out fought and out thought.
  13. I get the mentality effect you mentioned, to be honest as well it’s got to me, so much so I’m shying away more and more with anything to do with Everton, just to try and avoid mood swings and the feeling of hopelessness.
  14. When Delph leaves his best moments video will be the shortest ever witnessed from an Everton player, that’s if they can even find one moment to put in it.
  15. If Wales get in the group you boys aren’t progressing, you need to hope it’s Scotland or Ukraine to have any chance
  16. Thanks for posting this Matt, always good to get reliable reviews when it comes to food. I struggle to get Mutton where I am, and a slow cooked shoulder or neck makes the best curry’s the stronger flavour isn’t lost by the spices.
  17. Are we generalising here are discussing Everton, because if we are discussing the impact of subs for Everton then Bailey is right, if you are a badly run and mismanaged club you are going to struggle no matter how much money you have spent, Everton have proven that to be the case.
  18. And based on numerous managers at Spurs and their fan forum’s, as well as what we are witnessing here.
  19. A complete waste of a signing, unfit, no focus and a complete lack of desire, when we are struggling with injuries even Gomes start’s in front of him, surely that’s more than enough to tell anyone he’s going no where in this club. How the fuck have we ended up with him and Brentford ended up with Erikson?
  20. I had read this a couple of days ago and found it to be a very informative and a well written article. Moshiri has learnt nothing in his time as the owner and under his control we drop further and further, and we have spiralled so far out of control as a team, and devastatingly as a business I see no future for the Everton Football Club we know, love and have grown up with. My real biggest concern is that Moshiri will take ownership of the new stadium as a separate entity that doesn’t belong to to EFC, and the team eventually goes into administration, not so far fetched in my opinion, he’s a businessman and not an Everton supporter who now has sole control of every decision made, and his first interests will be himself and how he can leave this fiasco without his pants being around his ankles.
  21. Good luck mate hope it goes well for you, calculated risks are always worth taking it’s how we rock’n’roll
  22. It obviously pays to be bitch slapped from an actor who played Ali, even if he didn’t learn how to throw a decent right punch.
