  1. I wonder how much influence Baines had in the the selection of the back four it needed radically changing, and the calamitous Coleman and Keane needed dropping. Very disappointed that Gordon isn’t starting I hope with Townsend they aren’t going to defensive on the right side.
  2. I like that it’s got a Kings of Leon sound going on I love that sort of intro, then sometimes I get very disappointed with the vocals they weren’t to bad, but I will always be expecting a John Lydon or Johnny Moped to come in ramping it up. Try a bit of Johnny Moped mate you might like a proper Punk band that could play yet never sold out to the big labels.
  3. Are you really up this early on Saturday morning Mike
  4. Sounds like a statement written by an aide, full of sound bites with no substance and even less emotion. Another let’s throw some more money at it to keep the natives happy, I for one can’t wait for the stadium to be completed so he can sell up take his profit and fuck off.
  5. Unless it’s smoke screens if Rooney wanted the job shouldn’t he have applied for it in stead of waiting to be asked if he was interested.
  6. He has been a complete failure of a signing who ever started the ball rolling to bring him here should be sacked, oh they already have! Okay move on there is nothing more to said or done here he’ll never kick another ball for Everton and will be going in the summer.
  7. I put 9th-10th and went with my heart which is slightly broken.
  8. I think the problem is he hasn’t taken his medication
  9. Pickford. Patterson. Mina. Godfrey. Myko. Townsend. Doucoure. Alan. Gordon. Richarlison. Gray. Probably won’t go down well with most but I would have DCL on the bench, he hasn’t looked himself since returning from injury I’ve been rather underwhelmed with some of his performance’s which tells me he isn’t fully fit yet and we shouldn’t be flogging him. So this could be a good alternative.
  10. If Digne has a worldie then fair enough, but personally I don’t think he will and I wouldn’t pick my team or tactics just to try and stop him, stick Gray Townsend or Gordon on his side and keep him busy in his own half
  11. That’s a good question favourite players are normally outstanding players from the past, the current crop have no one who will go down as outstanding imo, but if I had to choose it would be Coleman purely based on longevity and nothing else.
  12. We could be saying the same thing soon if Rooney get’s the job
  13. Looking at the way Ferguson has managed before I can see Gordon being his type of player, he will want as many hardworking attack minded players on the pitch has possible, in Gordon DCL Richarlison Gray and Doucoure he has 5 players that suit his style with 3 more on the bench in Townsend Dobbin and Rondon. What concerns me is we haven’t got a defence that has pace and understanding to cope with a high press, and decent teams will be working on hitting us at pace on the break, if we had Alan holding then Coleman Keane Mina or Godfrey and Mykolenko as our defence we will be slaughtered defending a high line and if he don’t defend a high line and leave a space of 40yrds between defence and midfield we will become disconnected and not even good teams will take advantage of the space and play through us.
  14. What’s going to stop us going down is the players that are coming back from injuries not the next manager in charge, when we have a pretty much fully fit squad we have winners in the team the first 6 or so games are testament to this. Personally I never believed we were in danger of relegation under Benitez, I except he may never of played the style of football with a fully fit squad that we craved which in time would have got him the sack, yet I would have given him 12-18 months to prove us wrong. Sacking him now imo has made the next half of the season a lot harder than if he had stayed, but we now have pretty much all the players available who will keep us up.
  15. I agree Mike the defence needs special attention at this moment in time especially under Ferguson, who’s focus will be to press high up the pitch which with our defence throws up a couple of problems, we have a lack of pace so the defence is reluctant to push up to the halfway line but hang back and leave a huge space between them and the MF for the opposition to play in. Baines will understand that we lack pace but will Ferguson listen and adjust or play his game and get picked off. There’s no doubt 4 or 5 in the team will hope he throws caution to the wind and just goes for it.
  16. So you think he will leave Gordon out for experience, I would hope he would go for attacking football with energy and include Gordon.
  17. 2 weeks to get a new manager then or he’s staying.
  18. You just summed up eloquently the manager who we just sacked, and not one of those managers on the list that has been composed as Everton’s next manager is a winner in managerial terms . People won’t acknowledge it or are to blind to see it but we have probably got rid of the best chance to see us through this far too early. Moshiri’s blue and white army
  19. Good get your name on the next manager list then mate, you’d be a much better option than most on it
  20. How did the examination go today mate.
  21. As anyone spoken to them to see if there interested if not can we have Boris Johnson put on he could be looking for something soon.
