Get home and the police are there a bloke and a woman, the male copper sees the knife in my hand and starts having a pop at me, we have a few words which results in him threatening to arrest me and me telling them to get the fuck out of my house, had to phone the station the next day to get a crime number for the insurance company, I remember thinking this is going to go down well after last night but to be fair to them they gave me the number and nothing was said. 15 years later if I met that copper I would apologise to him he was doing his job, and was right if I would have caught up with one of them I would have been doing a lot of time in prison or a cemetery.

Got contacted by my surgery today I’m booked in for my first jab on Tuesday, which was a nice surprise only 61 so thought it would be weeks away before I got the call, not that I’m happy being 61

We are at home so that’s a slight advantage, plus they will have a busy schedule with the CL games coming thick and fast. I’d rather have avoided them but not to phased we normally give them a very good game.

He was immense when he came on he defended from the front at times, and kept Spurs in their own half which gave the defence a chance to have a breather and get back into shape. At 32 he is still showing some of the younger players the work rate required.

Him and DCL are the two most improved players from last season, and what makes it sweeter is Davies is one of our own. What I love about Davies play more than anything is he is always trying to be positive in his play he wants to go and get us going forward, hardly any negative backward passes, Ancelotti must love that part of his game as he himself has criticised that part of our game when we haven’t taken the forward pass and gone for the negative backwards ball. If he can keep this improvement up what a player we will have as a 25 year old.

The perfect keeper doesn’t exist as this week as shown, even those we perceive as better or get told are better by faceless statistics and haven’t got a clue pundits are making some huge blunders. I’m going to leave it to Ancelotti to work out but personally I think what we’ve got in our 2 keepers is no worse than most in the league.

Went for Davies when so many were playing negatively with back pass after back pass he kept us going forward, for me the driving force in the midfield.
