  1. Be interesting keeping count of the games from Barry, Davies, McCarthy, and Mo this season.

I can only put Klaasen, Morgan and Gana as certs to start, it's then a mixture from any of the others.

I really think Gana is going to struggle to stay in the starting eleven, he looked our best player when we were playing shit, but when we started playing better and getting results he was woeful in a most of them games.

I think the team is going to be a lot better next season, and he's going to struggle to up his game to be one of the first on the team sheet.

  2. I hope we have a season where Gana, Morgan, Davies, McCarthy, Barry and Klaassen stay fit. If they do Mo will be lucky to be on the bench. Having six better players in your position doesn't make for an easy life.

I also hope everyone stays fit, I agree having six better players in your position would be shite for your prospects, luckily for Mo we haven't.
  3. What do you want the club to be known for? And yes we all want the club to be known as winners!

Nottingham Forrest, Arsenal, and UTD in the 90's to early 2000 won the league playing good football and were not dirty bastards, that side is generally respected in football.

The Shite, Stoke, Chelsea are known for having dirty players and are known as dirt sides.

I know which camp I want Everton to be in.

Is that the United that had Roy Keane as their captain, probably the dirtiest player of his time, a winner and winners do what ever it takes to win, so I would take every player you mentioned that you wouldn't in a heartbeat, because there winners and they know that winning is everything.
  4. Yep. Hodgson is talking utter twaddle here. He has a lot to answer for with the decline of Ross Barkley.

I do worry for Ross. I think he is about to burn out massively, I can see him ending up slipping down the league into obscurity.

Same as that even the slipping down the league's, he needs to sign his contract if it's still on the table and fight for his place, where he will have the support of the fans.
  5. People haven't defended him people have just pointed out he's a good striker, one of the best we've had here for years that can't be denied the evidence is there for the world to see.

So he said things that he didn't want to stay here, he wanted a bigger club, he didn't think we could fill his ambitions, so fucking what he never come here as a hardened Everton supporter who promised he commit the rest of his playing career to us, he was always looking at his time here as a stepping stone to some where else.

And luckily for us he excelled in his time here, and after you deduct what we paid for him we've made 70M in profit, that sort of money is going to help us massively to move this club a step further to where we want to be.

So let's use the money wisely and move on to our goal of making this the best team in the country again, and stop going over the same arguments about him constantly, he's gone now so like Pad said it's done move on, and that means you as well Haf and if we do that your record for this thread history, just like Roms time with us history now.

I take it were not moving on then.

  7. Bill's right he has lost his place at this club, through his own choices.

Personally I don't think we will miss him with what we have brought in, it's just sad to see it ending this way, no one has come in for him because the 50M price tag we put on him has put them off, we need to be realistic with the valuation so we at least get a decent return for him.

I think he's burnt his bridges with Koeman, and he and his team know that, and are quite happy to let the clock tick and walk away on a free. So unless Koeman leaves in the near future I think he's played his last game for us.

  8. We didn't signed him knowing he will score 24 goals 3 years later, as we don't know if Sandro will score us 24 goals, but it's possible. It's uncertain that Lukaku will score 24 goals for United any time soon either.

We signed him as an out and out striker with a mandate to score goals which he did one of the best in Europe, Sandro is not an out and out striker he is a different type of player than Lukaku, he won't be up front trying to hold the ball up, first in the box our main target man, yes he will score goals, but he will be

more of a creator than an out an out scorer, what my point was as yet we still haven't got that out and out striker to score the bread and butter goals that will there to be had, because of the likes of Sandro and their craft, I really hope there is still a chance of us getting Giroud, he's that out and out type of striker we need knows where the goal is and will take a good percentage of his chances, and boy will he get chances.

  9. What concerns me is that of yet we haven't signed anyone to score us 24 goals next season, I'm not in the camp of we didn't need his goals or game play because we would have been no worse off with out his contributions, now I've heard a lot of rubbish spoken on this site, and I'm as guilty as anyone for spouting shite.

But to say that his goals didn't help the team to finish in the position they finished, takes the biscuit.

  10. Don't care if he does well or not at Man U not one of us anymore, not going to concern myself with ifs and buts about him, don't give a fuck.

Really excited about Rooney this move is going to reignite his career, I think we will see the Rooney of 3_4 years ago, can't wait for the season to get going 1-2 more players hopefully Giroud being one and we are going to be challenging for Champions League spot. COYB.
