  1. How is selling the family silver better than nationalising it? How is charging people for medical problems right? Human rights, don't want them? I guess workers should just be happy they get to do the work to make the owners rich. Nevermind the poor landlords who have to look for ways to hide their unearned money in the Cayman Islands, and now can't even enjoy some relaxing fox killing.

I'm yet to see a single reason why any one can value May over Corbyn, I don't even agree with a lot of Corbyn's ideals, but May is a fucking leach, absolutely disgusting excuse for a human being. Every bastard over 40 should be ashamed of themselves if they've voted tory in the past. It's absolutely disgusting what you've done to this country. Cheers for the low wages, expensive transport, and unaffordable houses and education. Well done.

The 'National' lottery funds Canadian pensions. The railways fund the German's pockets, and our energy goes to the French. Unfuckingbelievable. Keep calm and carry on making the hour glass narrower.

    Spot on.
  2. I think the state of our NHS has probably crossed the line of no return.

It has been a political pawn for years most recently and disgustingly in the Brexit campaign, a vote for the Tories will probably end any chance of a resurgence, and Labour will throw more money at it which will be miss managed and wasted.

I personally have had private health insurance for years paid for by myself, and those who can afford it should if only to ease the burden of the NHS which would then give a better service for those who can't afford private health care.

Just a thought cause something surly has to change.

  3. Why would someone (as Juncker did) take two enormous tomes (The Canada trade deal, the other whose title escapes me) to a preliminary meeting where no detail was to be discussed, and then produce them with a flourish to make a point? He probably spent the previous week practising in front of the mirror for dramatic effect. Apparently, the EU contingent agreed with the post meeting announcement that it had been 'constructive' and then went off and spouted poison like a group of schoolkids. What a shower and there are people on here who seriously want to stay with them, unbelievable.

Yes there are people here who know we would be better off in than out, and I'm one, the tide is turning and in the next twelve months we all suffer due to the lies and distortions of the Brexiteers.
  4. Diane Abbott has to be the biggest imbecile to have ever entered the political arena, for years she's just fluffed her way along, for her to hold a position in the shadow cabinet is a testament to how far Labour have internally destroyed themselves as a credible party to put up a challenge against the Tories.

God help us if the Tories achieve the landslide there looking likely to get.

  5. Again I find myself repeating the same thing over and over again.... lukakus "input" into these games from a team perspective . Selfless running, pressing, challenging. Holding up the ball - relieving the stress from the defence.

The last 20 minutes against United he was having shots from 25 yards, taking on a player rather than holding it up. We were 1 nil up and the likes of Baines was screaming at him to help the defence out by keeping hold of the ball.... no chance. He hadn't scored - golden boot before the team.

Argue that one all day long if you want. Him trying to nick tom davies goal was evidence enough of that.

He was trying to impress his new manager.
  6. Holy and Matt I stand corrected. Thank you.

Now you concede that we did have a choice on immigration but didn't choose to use our right to stop people coming into the country, wether from within the E.U or the rest of the world, can I ask would you have voted differently if you new this, because immigration seems to near the top of your concerns within the E.U.

And I apologise now if I have misunderstood your posts.

  7. In all honesty, my ideal scenario is that we spend 'big' on 2 or 3. 'Big' being relative to us of course! This means, hopefully, getting players of the calibre of Schneiderlin. Players that come in and make an impact on the first 11. This will be Koemans main input.

Then we maybe 'unearth' one or two relatively unknowns that turn out to be bargains. Like your Gana's, Mahrez, Vardy etc. Forget the players name for a moment, its about the price paid against the abdolute impact such players have had. This is Walsh's main input.

Then we give about 5 U23's a chance to play in the first team to fill in the blanks of a complete squad. Watching them last night, there are some tidy players there that need testing at a higher level. We are likely to have an early start to the season, so why not?

This for me if you want to break into the top 4 and stay there you need to buy the the best and they don't start at 10m.
  8. If Rom stays we need to get a RB CB AM let Valencia go and let the youngsters step in when options are needed.

Last summer the problem was convincing players to come here not funds, now players and agents can see we are a club going places so we should have more of a greater chance to attract quality, let's not fill the team with 5-6 mediocre players at 10-12m each, let's spend 60-80m on 2-3 quality players.

  9. Since the LibDems will be second in my constituency, albeit miles behind the Tory, I shall definitely be voting for them. UKIP came second here in 2015 but the libdems dropped 22.9% in line with the national rout, confident they'll have a lot more than nine MPs this time though they won't get close to the 62 they had in 2010. Thirty would be my estimate.

I know what you mean the constituency I live in is staunch conservative, so unless I become the world's biggest mass murderer by some 6,000 or so people they will romp it.

When I lived 15 minutes away in Swindon East it was always marginal seat swinging between Labour and Conservative, wish I still lived in a marginal seat where your vote can make a difference.

  10. I was down as 20% odd British and DU while having zero issues aligned with them so I left them off my list. I'm horrified that I agree with UKIP and the tories on anything, need to reassess my values .

I think you do at the moment your a tree hugger, come on Mike get with the program a west country resident you must have Lib Dem coursing through your veins.
  11. My poll came out as follows.

    1) Labour

    2) Plaid Gymru

    3) Lib Dems

Well I'm definitely not voting Labour Corbyn needs to go and the party needs to pull away from their extreme left position.

At a guess don't think that Welsh party would have a candidate in my constituency.

So that leaves me with Lib Dem which I been championing in previous post.

So this is my party political broadcast on behalf of TTF,if you feel disenfranchised with Labour, can't stand the Tories, then join me in voting Lib Dem and take control back from the far right extremist government.

  12. I echo both yourself Palfy and Bailey, it's a fairly shitty situation with not much hope sadly as they will likely win by a landslide

I can't bare the conservatives the detrimental effect they had on the industry (Railway) I work in and others they obliterated will always stop me voting for them, if not for the piece of shit that is Corbyn I'd have voted Labour

Exactly Paul so let's vote Lib Dem even if it is a protest vote it might have some use, in Labour getting shot of Corbyn, and the Tories seeing even if they win the seats they require on proportional representation they wouldn't have walked it.

Better than just throwing the towel in even if it does go against the grain, and anyway not all Liberals are wishy washy Churchill wasn't.

  13. I agree with your general synopsis of the situation. The discussion then has to focus on how to manage the situation as it is now. Services and social infrastructure cant cope so we have to either increase its supply or reduce the demand on it.

I favour reducing the demand on it - or at least checking the rate of increase on it.

That is not based on any xenophobic or racist sentiments, quite simply on the reality of space available, problems of assimmilation and integration and the huge and unacceptable increase in taxationwhich would be necessary for us to address the supply side of the equation. And even if we did that, it would just atteact more economic migrants. There comes a point where we have to say no to immigration and, if we want to help, we can start by utilising all the spare land on the planet, much of Africa, Australian interior, etc.

I do agree to a certain extent, but we didn't have to leave the E.U to curb the amount of people entering the country, we could have stopped the amount of people coming in from outside the E.U, we have always had control on that yet it is still happening today, that those immigrants make up a large percentage of immigrants entering the country.

So therefore it pretty much proves that the so called we want control of our borders brigade, the likes of Johnson and Gove, lied about controlling immigration and a lot of people fell for that lie.
