  1. I wasn't the only one who said a couple of months ago that he was proven himself in the U23s, and should have been given another opportunity before he was shipped out, more to fill everyone's curiosity now it's been filled and he is doing the business unfortunately not for us.

Nearly everyone posting on here has highlighted the need for another striker as cover for Lukaku and occasionally to play a long side him, I'm starting to feel that Koeman may have scored a massive own goal with his unprofessional attitude towards Niasse in the way he publicly humiliated him, because as some of us suspected we may of had that striker required already in our mists, only the manager couldn't see it or wasn't prepared to back down and lose face on his poor assessment of him, so we ended up with the star that is Valencia.

  2. Bit harsh on the many educated and savvy people who voted out, but by and large I agree with you.

I agree and it wasn't meant to be aimed at every leave voter, just the old farts that hark on about a time gone by, with the phrase back in my day, then the closest racist who voted out just to close the borders hoping to stop the next foreigners from coming into what they believe should be a white British country, then the twats the sit on their arses all day moaning about how hard done they are, when they've hardly done a day's work in their lives, with their 4-5 kids who are growing up with the same values as their spongeing parents with nothing to lose, but a hope that if they vote out all the people who have worked hard and achieved something in their lives might lose out.

I strongly believe that all the people I mentioned are the reason that leave won the vote.

I'm clad I voted remain if now only to say I've got no association with any of the above.

  3. In many ways I have to agree with you. But Stoke are a diffetent challenge to Crystal Palace so the question is, do we change our starting eleven for the different opposition or are we so confident that we can leave it unchanged. Stoke aren't as physical as they were under Pulis but they can still mix it and I would worry that Davies would either get injured or sent off. Might be a case for starting Barry and Schneiderlin?

Tactically that is a good point, but wouldn't it be nice to say this is us you know how we play were good enough to beat you as we are you don't worry us, give em the dogs of war mentality, and let em have it.
  4. exactly, StevO said the same thing. no striker wants to sign for us to sit on the bench behind lukaku, not anyone of real quality anyways. Valencia is fine, Kone is 3rd. We have mirallas barkley lookman lennon Calvert Lewin Dowell who can all play those 2 ACM roles in the 343. we are fine.

That's a prospect I hope I never have to witness Valencia or kone as main line of attack, try telling the likes of Sunderland that getting 3 or more injuries at the same time first team players doesn't happen.
  5. The team are playing well particularly the midfield the sum of their parts is working as a whole, so why would anyone feel the need to change it, as individuals Gana and Schneiderlin maybe better but the lads who have the positions at the moment have earned them, for me at best Gana and Schneiderlin on the bench until injuries or bad results dictate a change.

Keep it the same for Stoke the players will respect that whether there playing or not and hopefully we can keep the good run going.

  6. What an utterly ridiculous thing to say. He's had a handful of games to settle in when we weren't playing well and he's got a potentially career threatening injury.

    Fucking idiotic thing to say

    Cue the bantz shouts

Pad I think that was said more in jest because of how we are playing without him, anyway if it wasn't your spot on.
  7. I thought negative times negative equals positive. ;)

Seriously, the two campaigns were a disgrace, which appears to be the modern way. I really don't believe the British people are stupid, though. You could see through lies, and I could see through lies. Are we just smarter than everyone else?

Does that mean you didn't vote because both sides lied, so you didn't vote so you couldn't be accused of being stupid.
