  1. I get that but he's had no time to change it, you can't expect any manager to come in and change that shit squad in half a season.

We were promised Witsel, Mata, Koulibally in the summer and the board failed to deliver them.

You can't blame him for that.

No you wouldn't expect him to change it completely, but after approximately 40M spent and six in the job it wouldn't be unfair to expect better than where getting.
  2. Koeman hasn't got the dressing room with him, they are for the most the same players as last season who bar sloppy defending and able to hold on to a lead still played some very good football.

We didn't hear or see any adverse reactions to Martinez's players after the first 5 games of the season when we were 2nd with 13 points.

Then we play Norwich he thinks that this is a gimme or Mickey mouse cup and makes changes and we get tonked, that knocked us out of our stride and from that point on he as constantly changed shape and personnel, even if a player had a good game next week he would be on the bench and you can see in the interaction between him and his players there's not a lot going on, if you look at the the relationship Klopp has with his players you can see they love him and would do anything for him the respect is so great.

Koeman has only him self to blame for the lack of football inability he is serving up week in week out and to blame the players and the previous manager for the last four and a half months is burying your head in the sand, he has to be responsible for our displays he sends his team out.

  3. Quite honestly there is no point debating it.... Martinez was not good enough. Did some good things and some pretty shit things.

Koeman hasn't improved us as much as I would hope.... if at all really.

It's not always about signings. Managers should be able to energise the team.... organise them etc. I don't see this.

Most sensible thing said today, and what happens from here on is down to others, unless someone would like to organise a wholesale demonstration, but were not quite at that stage yet but not far off.
  4. 4 league home wins in a season, the worst record in our history as co-founder members of the league.

clown-shoes has a hell of a lot to answer for, not just his 11.25 million pound golden parachute.

Golden parachute as you call it, do you know of anything that is written in Koeman's contract that said if we sack you in the next year you go with nothing, if you don't and that was to happen then the amount we gave Martinez would pale into comparison to what koeman would get, but that's business and that side doesn't worry me, because if it wasn't them it would be someone else.

What concerns me is the way we have been playing and the managers lack of any understanding of what to do, now if Koeman has to go I'd rather he went with his 20M than suffer what we are seeing for much longer, in the grand scheme of things both payoffs are a spit in the ocean and good luck to them, that's lottery of finding a good manager, and maybe the board should brush up on their interview techniques before they go throwing millions around.

  5. Are you fucking stupid? Rotating players is when you keep changing personel. If he changes the system he has to put different players in to suit the system.

But why keep changing the system, we looked fairly good last half hour against Southampton and go to win the game, and then next game it's like he's learnt nothing and completely changes the system and personnel.
  6. Squad rotation?? Who did he drop and change? Gana at the afcon, McCarthy injured, Gibsonnot fit, Bolasie injured.. people have been screaming for him to play. Alencia to support Rom he does and he gets his tactics wrong, they scream for him to play our saviour Davies he does and he's anonymous for most of the game, that'll be Koemans fault soon as well once people start seeing the lad isn't ready to start regular.

We dominated first half, the exclusion of Vardy caught us by surprise he changed it at half time (positively) his sub creates the goal then we fold like a deckchair on Blackpool beach.

I'm not sure who he dropped in "rotation" today that have started regularly because Mirallas and Lennon have been onthe bench all season, Geris been injured for a while as has Kone and we have no othe cdms available.

All he needed to do was put someone in Gana's place, but know he has to keep changing things week in week out.
  7. Hollystove how do Americans feel about the Russian hacking of the Presidential campaign, and the fact that Trump tweeted and totally dismissed it and criticised his intelligence agencies for for better words making it up.

I always felt that a lot of his supporters were fanatical Americans from the mid states where Russian is a dirty word.

If this had been exposed before the vote are people thinking it could have been a different outcome, and is there any challenges to the result legally or otherwise.

  8. We need a better keeper if we want any chance of breaking in to the top four in next two years.

Nearly all successful teams have a worldy keeper, in our case when we were flying in the eighties if we didn't have big Nev we wouldn't have been as successful as were.

Stekkers and Robles aren't good enough to get us seriously challenging for top four spot.

  9. Cleverley doesn't need minutes. Put Davies and Barkley in deep midfield, Mirallas and Deulofeu on the side, and play Valencia just behind Lukaku with 4 at the back. Cleverley needs a transfer to League 1.

I would go a long with that if it kept Barry out from starting, but Koeman is more than likely going to try and play the same formation as he did against Southampton and replace Gana with Barry.
  10. I think against Leicester we should play the same formation as we played against Southampton and replace Gana with Cleverley, instead of taking backwards step and going with Barry when we know before he starts he's going to struggle, Cleverley is more mobile than Barry and if he doesn't cut the mustard at least it will answer the question whether to let go out on loan or keep him as backup.

I know most think he's wank and I'm no fan of his, and l have great respect for Barry he's done magnificent for this club but unfortunately he is starting to hurt us when he plays, and you never know he might surpass our expectations.

  11. ok after the soton win I think we stick with that lineup

    Robles

    Coleman Williams Mori Baines

    Mirallas Davies McCarthy Barkley

    Valencia Lukaku

The 2 strikers worked well together and they've had enough rest between this match and will have a full week off before Man City. Go strong and see how far we can go in the Cup. If McCarthy isn't healthy then I'd put Barry in there.

I would go with that line up, but if McCarthy is still injured I think I'd give Cleverley an opportunity, on its a nothing to lose basis, due to the fact that we know Barry is struggling with the pace at which Koeman wants to play, and Cleverley is younger with more pace and mobility, which has been shown that's what we need.

And if he looks way off the then at least we know it's time to get rid and stop paying him for sitting on the bench not contributing, and then again he may surprise us.

  12. I live in Lancashire, they call it a bap here from what I've seen in the last four years. Not a barm.

on Corrie they call it a Barm cake in the Rovers not that I watch it, here in Wiltshire country bumpkin land they call a soft white roll that's flatish a bap, am I on the same wave length cause I'm getting confused
