  1. Finn, it’s good to share, some times easier with those we don’t know face to face. Best wishes to all, we never know what’s around the corner, good or bad, all we can do is make the most of what we have and to help others less fortunate if we can. Our beloved club is in an exiting place, quality manager, financial backing, new ground, squad that can improve under the manager, and best of all, us the fans who are the club. COYB!
  2. We do learn our habits and skills growing up, and we learn to improve, embrace the good manage out the bad, ask the dinosaurs. Yes he needs to man up and be more aggressive in his style of play if he wants to continue at Everton and earn a bloody good wage, or are you happy for him to continue to be knocked off the ball as easily as his is. Speed will never come if it’s not there but game reading and anticipation can be developed.
  3. Sorry I’m not buying that, if he’s not learnt how to use his strength properly in the premier by now, he never knew how to use it properly. Needs to man up or move on.
  4. I was going to say the same thing, significant improvements are being seen and enjoyed, really excited about the rest of season and beyond.
  5. DCL for me, based on radio commentary and MOTD highlights, got both goals and did a good job at CF, Pickford needs a mention, couple of good saves and didn’t do his dickhead impressions in front of his old enemy.
  6. Playing under Silva it would be understandable, however the situation has changed, he would be daft to move now, unless his family haven’t settled here.
  7. No Not sure I that’s true but it felt like it, I remember one game where JonJoe blasted over the bar after 45 mins, our first effort on goal at home, horrible stuff to have endured.
  8. I’ve watched him over the last three seasons, he has always struck me as a player who will run and run and run for the team, in addition to that with the support he now has he has become in the goalscorer that we’ve always wanted him to be. I really hope that it continues to develop becomes one of the best strikers we’ve seen at Goodison for a long time, I do think of the teams will come knocking on our door for him, but I think Dom is a player who will stay at Goodison as he appears to love playing here and is now getting love from us as well
  9. Can I feel special with you ? My first 10 pointer since Leicester season before last
  10. And he is scoring, Tosun doesn’t fill me with any confidence at all.
  11. DCL didn’t stop running or trying and was rewarded with getting the winner, so so happy to see his development this season.
  12. It pisses me right off when I hear it from them, we’ve had it for years, why would they want to adopt it?
  13. Spot on here Palfy, I’m expecting changes in Jan, really hope we can move some out to make way for incoming, and on Saturday I said to the guys I sit next to we need to make this work otherwise we’re doomed to mid table same old same old that we’ve seen since 87.
  14. I dont blame him at all either, it was for me a good decision, and seems to have had the right effect on Moise.
  15. Pride is the word, under Marco ( who I liked and wanted him to come here) this season if felt like we were drifting in to a state of “who gives a Fcck” To see Marco standing on the touch line with his hands in pockets passively watching us loose to all three promoted teams, and the rest was horrible, Duncs passion and pride for our club is 100% evident and was felt by the fans again at each of the games. I hope Carlo has seen that and uses Dunc to carry it on for him as Carlo doesn’t strike me as being that demonstrative.
  16. Moise needs to settle down a bit, which given his age is understandable, against Utd he shown serious lack of understanding, and against Arsenal he was trying too hard, and trying to beat too many players ( like the rest of team on Saturday it has to be said) he needs to learn to lay the ball off sooner, he does seem to have a good skill set, and hopefully with time it will come good, a goal will do him the work DOF good confidence wise. As it stands I’d much rather see him come on as a sub than start, and rather than Tosun, with Moise at least it feels he might do something, I don’t get that feeling with Tosun.
  17. If it is Iwobi related this is the Iwobi thread, them MJB is right, and I agree, he’s not doing it for me at all, all huff and puff without any end result.
  18. Can’t be with us much longer after the horror show of his short appearance yesterday, totally underwhelming, highlighted when he kicked the ball out for a corner when he didn’t need to touch it.
  19. There was one attack in the first half where he failed to keep up with the attack, Richy down the left, if he had he would have been free at the edge of the box giving Richy an option, but no he jogged and was barely over the half way line. Golden opportunity missed.
  20. Weird game yesterday, 90 minutes of two teams unable to pass to each other effectively, both managers must have walked away think we should have won that. Tosun coming on for Iwobi baffled me, and just didn’t work out, I wasn’t surprised when he was pulled, and neither should Tosun have been, if he thinks he was doing ok then he needs to keep walking away and find another team. We looked tired all game, Burnley on Thursday will be tough physically, we will need to rediscover our intensity.
  21. DCL for me, had a calm composed head on him when everyone else rushed passes or held on too long.
  22. Agreed, and I don’t think we should underestimate his influence on the team in the last two games, without his experience we could have come unstuck quite easily IMO.
